Charlie’s Girls OK After Crash

Divorced parents Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are holding their daughters a little closer this holiday after they escaped injury in an auto accident. Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, were riding in Malibu with their nanny at the wheel of a Mercedes SUV when they were cut off by another driver. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Richard Erickson told E! News:
“The accident happened yesterday at 3:28 p.m. when a car pulled out from a side street before traffic was clear. The car pulled into the path of the car that contained the Sheen children.”
The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to yield. Sheen’s rep Stan Rosenfield gave a statement to E! News:
“I spoke to Charlie and the girls are fine. He is very grateful because the accident could have been worse. He was very grateful the girls were in their car seats and for the safety features of Mercedes.”

Denise Richards Gets More “Complicated”

Surprisingly, the E! network has ordered a second season of “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated.” It’s surprising because the first season from the fading starlet/former trophy wife slid so badly in the ratings as it went on. After another season of being dragged out and put on display, her two daughters by Charlie Sheen are really going to need therapy.

More Hollywood baby news for y’all. Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are expecting their first child together! Congrats to the happy couple. This will be Sheen’s fourth child; he has two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards (Sam and Lola) and a daughter, Cassandra, from his previous relationship with Paula Profitt. Meanwhile, My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee and girlfriend Ceren Alkac just welcomed a new baby girl on August 10. Her name’s yet to be released, but the new bundle of joy joins an older brother, Pilot Inspektor, Lee’s son from a previous relationship. And finally, Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio just gave birth to a baby girl yesterday in Brazil. This is her first child with boyfriend, California businessman Jamie Mazur. Welcome to the world, Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur!

I can’t really pick sides when it comes to the Charlie Sheen vs. Denise Richards match-up. Charlie’s never been the picture of innocence and Denise…well, she likes to talk. A lot. So what’s Denise talking about lately? Well, the new reality TV star told In Style Magazine recently that her daughters with Sheen, Sam and Lola, are in therapy. “My kids are in therapy,” Denise told the publication. “It’s very sad that they need to be there, but they do for now. On the other hand, it’s good they have an outlet to deal with their feelings and someone who is just their advocate.” Denise said that her opening up about this will hopefully help other parents feel better about their kids being in therapy. No doubt these two little girls definitely could use a lot of therapy after all the bickering their parents continue to do. And I’m a huge supporter of those who need to go to therapy, or those who need to send their kids to a shrink, but, c’mon. Denise can open up as much as she wants about her life, but how about giving her kids a little privacy? Just a smidgen of privacy, Denise. Just a smidgen. They’ll thank you later for it.
