Christie Gets Sole Custody

Good riddance, Peter! Former supermodel Christie Brinkley agreed to pay her cheating (now ex) husband Peter Cook $2.1 million to settle their divorce. The money was part of the deal that was hammered out in all-night negotiations which finally ended this morning. Christie was awarded sole custody of their two children, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10, and the exes agreed to continue the current custody arrangement, giving Peter the children every Wednesdays and alternating weekends. The couple’s ten year marriage fell apart two years ago when Christie found out Peter was having an affair with his then teenage assistant.In addition to getting full custody of their two children, Brinkley will keep the couple’s 18 properties scattered through the Hamptons as well as the Turks and Caicos.
