Britney: Enough is Enough
Tuesday, November 18th, 2008According to the The Daily Mail, Britney Spears is feeling much like a prisoner sentenced to a never ending jail term. In excerpts from the upcoming MTV documentary, Britney admits that she believes that the conservatorship her Father Jaime Spears holds over her should end. Britney says, “If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I’m having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I’ve learnt my lesson now and enough is enough.”
The documentary is set to air November 30 on MTV but it’s likely we won’t see any of this footage as it’s expected that her keepers will yank anything that puts them in a bad light. But how can anyone with control over Britney’s conservator’s ignore these and other statements Britney is reported to have made? “I think it’s too in control. If I wasn’t under the restraints I’m under, I’d feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it’s like they hear but they’re really not listening,” Britney went on to say in the footage.
Is it truely Britney’s best interest that the Conservator’s have or is it another? Perhaps financial? I know you commentors will have plenty to say on the matter as will I.
