The title has nothing to do with this entry, but I’ve always wanted to use it, so there you go. Former Roc-A-Fella CEO Damon Dash and rapper Jim Jones were spotted at the Waverly Inn in Manhattan last night. This Waverly Inn place is really popular. Do they have drink specials or something? Anyway, in case you’re not familiar with Roc-A-Fella, it’s the label Jay-Z formed with Damon and another partner in 1996. The company broke up in 2002, reputedly on bad terms between Dame and Beyonce’s man. Jim Jones, interestingly enough, had a more public beef with Jay-Z as well. Hmm. This just goes to show all of us that hip hop, like Hollywood, is like high school. Yup. Now that Dame and Jay-Z aren’t buds anymore, Dame goes and hangs out with someone who also thinks Hova shouldn’t have been voted the most popular kid in school. Know what I mean?
