Dr. Phil’s Lunch Break

Britney Spears’ favorite TV doctor, Dr. Phil McGraw, was found at the Grill in Beverly Hills. Christina Millian was also lunching there, but she wasn’t there with Dr. Phil. I’m sure folks go up to him all the time and tell him their problems. I wonder if he still talks to Oprah. Oprah was the one who broke Dr. Phil into mainstream TV. Anyway, Dr. Phil recently had some bad press after speaking on the Britney situation while she was hospitalized. The Spears family wasn’t too happy about that at all. Hopefully they’ve kissed and made up. The Spears and McGraw families were said to be good friends before. Anyway, I have nothing more to say about Dr. Phil for now. There you go.
No More House Calls For Dr. Phil

I just inspected the picture above of Britney Spears and I realized that her smile’s kind of awkward. At any rate, I like that she’s smiling and it would be nice if some happiness enters her life in the near future. Where does Dr. Phil lead into this, you might be asking. As many of us now know, Dr. Phil was very close to the Spears clan and wanted to offer his support to the family. Well, many magazines are reporting that Brit’s family is not too happy with the TV doctor these days because he made one too many comments regarding the singer’s state. As Lou Taylor, Brit’s spokesperson clearly stated, “what’s wrong with Dr. Phil’s statement is that he made a statement.” Fair enough. It’s true that while all the drama was ensuing with Britney, we suddenly got Dr. Phil’s name in the mix. The family probably feels that he took advantage of their friendship and gained a lot of exposure from their pain. But wait a minute, isn’t that what happens in all those talkshows anyway, including Dr. Phil’s? The good news for today is that it’s been quiet on the Britney front, so hopefully she’s getting some much needed rest and thinking about returning to the doctor soon. I’ll update y’all when more news comes.
