“Dancing” Dumps Denise

They don’t like you, Denise. They really don’t like you. The mostly female fans of “Dancing with the Stars” gave actress/reality star Denise Richards the boot last night, making her the season’s second contestant to hoof it off the stage.
Richards’ rep as a husband-stealing homewrecker, combined with her lackluster performance in the ballroom, gave America’s housewives enough reasons to kick her to the curb. Biggest winner of the evening was her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s fiancée Karina Smirnoff. Not only is her man Max no longer spending hours every day in the clutches of the devious Denise, Karina and her partner, lovable teddy bear Steve Wozniak, managed to avoid being in the bottom two despite one of the worst judges’ scores ever in the history of the show. It looks like the Woz may be this season’s Cloris or Springer—the contestant the viewers vote for in spite of the judges.
Who’s going home next? I’d bet on Playboy model Holly Madison, whose killer bod can’t make up for her lack of coordination.

Julianne Hough has coached two winners on “Dancing with the Stars,” but faces a unique challenge this year—training her real-life boyfriend Chuck Wicks. The country heartthrob has one big thing going for him—he’s hot. Other than that, he’s a mess. How long can the Ken&Barbie cuteness of Chulianne keep this pair in the running when Chuck’s just not improving?

At Disney World without Chuck…. lol
Hey guys,I just finished a show here at disney world for the childrens miracle network. it was such a cool experience to meet all the champion kids… makes you really appreciate what you have and what you can do to help raise awareness for them…im just laying in bed with lexi [her spaniel], she is on my right arm asleep so it’s taking me forever to type cause im doing it with my left hand…lol
anyways i’m just laying here thinking about how hard it’s gonna be to start teaching chuck our dance for next week tomorrow. we are so behind because we are both still touring. he is in new hampshire tonight i think… i get on a flight at 5:50am to CT to meet him for his show. we should get a couple of hours of training in before he goes on… and then we both fly again the next morning at about 5am to Mississippi for a show i’m doing there… hopefully you guys will vote this week, i think we are really going to need it!!!
Yeah, you probably are. If Clutzy Chuck can’t shape up by the time the really bad dancers go home, this darling duo won’t be long in the ballroom.

Kim K. Picks “Dancing” Winners

Voluptuous Kim Kardashian didn’t get very far on last season’s “Dancing with the Stars” but she still has warm feelings for the show and told RadarOnline how she felt about this year’s crop of ballroom hopefuls. Who has Kim picked as the front-runners?
“There are three that I think are really good. I think Shawn Johnson is so amazing. There’s something about those Olympians that they have that drive and determination. Of course she’s with my partner Mark [Ballas] who I think is amazing. Then I thought Gilles [Marini] was amazing. Cheryl was amazing and I thought they looked hot together. And then I think of Steve-O. He could be someone that really surprises everyone. And the Dallas Cowboys cheerleader ['The Bachelor'’s Melissa Rycroft] is also pretty good.”
So who’s going to win? Kim says, “I’m gonna give it up to Mark and Shawn Johnson.”
Who’s going home first? “I would say Steve [Wozniak], the Apple guy. I think he’s not gonna make it too far.”
Kim’s choices sound right-on to me. Especially since The Woz was spotted this week with one leg in a cast. He was bad enough before he was injured.

“DWTS” Announces Pairings

ABC hit series “Dancing with the Stars” has announced this year’s pairings of celebs and dance pros. New professional dancers this year are Jonathan Roberts and Dmitry Chaplin. I predict the couple to watch is real-life lovers Chuck Wicks & Julianne Hough (pictured). The country-crooning pair met while on tour with Brad Paisley last year. I also expect Karina Smirnoff to lose her patience with Steve Wozniak but think if anyone can whip Steve-O into line, it’s Lacey Schwimmer. The couples are:

“DWTS” Announces Cast

The new lineup of has-beens and never-weres has been announced for the new season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Most likely to be first man out is Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Looking more promising are pop star Jewel and her husband, rodeo champion Ty Murray, who will be competing with each other.
Not competing are country hunk Chuck Wicks and his partner, girlfriend and two-time “Dancing with the Stars” champion Julianne Hough. Julianne had announced she would sit this season out to concentrate on her singing career. Did the producers lure their most popular dancer back with more money and sweeten the deal by putting her honey on the show? And doesn’t Wicks have an unfair advantage by being with his partner 24/7?
Representing the jocks are Olympic gold-medal gymnast Shawn Johnson and former New York Giant and Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor. On the music side are Go-Go’s lead singer Belinda Carlisle and rapper Lil’ Kim.
The rest of the D-listers include actress Denise Richards, actor-comedian David Alan Grier, actor Gilles Marini, Steve-O of “Jackass” and “Access Hollywood” host Nancy O’Dell.
The eighth season of “Dancing with the Stars” begins March 9.
