The cast of “Desperate Housewives” shot on location in Pasadena, CA, Wednesday. Eva Longoria looks stunning—the glam Gabi we love is back! I’m glad because frumpy Gabi was getting to be a bore. Let’s hope she’s back to her old conniving ways!

So what happens when the majority of the tabloid worthy celebs leave town for Sundance or Inauguration? You get lots more hard up paps working on lesser stars, that’s what happens. And that’s what indeed happened on Monday as poor Eva Longoria, who probably wasn’t invited to DC or Utah, waded into the shark infested waters of Beverly Hills. And what’s great about this video is the fact that we get to make fun of the new guy, David. We’re all friends here at JFX and as much as we like to make fun when other paps fall over themselves or planters, it’s even better to make fun when it happens to one of us. Of course, I’m telling David that I’m posting the video so he’ll learn to keep an eye out for potted plants, but in reality, we ARE definitely laughing at him. So join us in the laughs.

A very funny PSA from A-list celebrities on the value of voting in this years coming election who realistically, probably don’t themselves. I know Leo doesn’t vote because he’s too afraid he’ll be photographed at the polls! But hey, who’s not interested in being pounded over the head with a message by people much richer, more powerful and more beautiful than you? Sarah Silverman and Jonah Hill are the highlights, even though Jonah’s been losing some weight, he’s still pretty funny.

Our photogs spotted Mrs. Eva Longoria-Parker filming Desperate Housewives yesterday in Pasadena. I still can’t get used to Eva’s short bob. Sometimes I’m diggin’ it and sometimes…well, it’s just there. And I have no idea what she’s doing in the pic below, but I’m sure it’s part of a very interesting plot line. Or she really just likes that door. Anyway, there are still tons of stories out there claiming that Eva’s desperately trying to get preggy. Even her DH producer, Marc Cherry, told Us Weekly recently that Eva really wants to be of child: “Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with Tony Parker. After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call!” Well, let’s hope for Eva’s sake that the stork is just right around the corner. That’s totally what Eva Longoria looks like she’s saying to whomever she was talking to yesterday on the set of Desperate Housewives in North Hollywood. Neck roll and everything. With the new hairdo, the hoop earrings and the outgrown roots, she’s supposed to look like a regular, tired mommy of two (what Gaby ended up being on the show). Instead, she looks like one of my old chola girlfriends from high school who ran out of Wet ‘n Wild liquid eyeliner (gotta’ be liquid) and Aqua Net (super extra hold). And that’s not a muffin top forming on Eva’s little belly. The bulge is supposed to be part of a body suit. Mrs. Parker did admit she gained a few pounds over the break for Gaby’s new story lines, but she still needed help looking fat. Oye, what a curse! And since I am now very saddened by Eva’s fat-suit curse, I will delve into my 99 cent Mc Donald’s double cheeseburger in her honor. Eva Longoria decided to chop her hair off, just in time for the summer heat. I’m diggin’ the new haircut, actually. She looks younger and fresher. Here she is with hubby Tony Parker yesterday after they had lunch at Toast in Los Angeles. Tony’s off for the summer, so he’s been hanging out with his wife. The couple just came back from a trip to Italy last week. They have been dodged by pregnancy rumors as of late, too, but of course they’re denying it. I can see Eva having a baby in a couple of years. It’s probably part of her five-year plan. The wedding’s checked off, as is the new restaurant, so the baby’s slowly moving up the list. Our photogs spotted Eva Longoria leaving the Ken Paves Salon yesterday and the Desperate Housewives star made a quick stop to lend a helping hand. One of the paps on the scene fell and who was there to help him get up but Mrs. Tony Parker herself. Freshly-coiffed, she gave the photog a friendly hand off the pavement. Awww, isn’t that sweet? Of course, this happy demeanor was before she watched her husband’s team get their booties served to them by our L.A. Lakers, but hopefully it lasted well into the night. By the way, go Lakers! My younger sister in Atlanta who reads our blogs was wondering if the only thing celebrities do all day is go to lunch and shop. Well, of course, I told her. Case in point – Eva Longoria. We found the Desperate Housewives star going to lunch with some pals at Cafe Med in West Hollywood the other day. Granted, I’m sure Eva was taking a break from filming, so let’s cut her some slack. Eva was sporting her #9 locket, for her hubby Tony Parker. Tony’s team, the San Antonio Spurs, beat the Phoenix Suns last night to move on to the next round of the playoffs. Our photogs found Mrs. Tony Parker and a friend shopping in Beverly Hills this weekend. Look how tiny Eva’s feet are (pic below). It’s always funny to see celebs in person because they’re usually much shorter and smaller than you’d imagine. Eva’s Desperate Housewives is back on the air with new episodes, so that’s good news for those who missed Wisteria Lane and its ladies during the writers’ strike. Her hubby’s team, the San Antonio Spurs, lost to our Los Angeles Lakers today, but Eva called Geico and saved money on her car insurance. So we all win.

The rumor mills are working to full capacity about a Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom hookup. Word on the street is that the two met up at Eva Longoria’s new restaurant, Beso, and had a few more things than the food. An onlooker told the New York Post that the two were sitting super close together and that Jen was giving Orlando googly eyes. Yes, I just wrote googly eyes. Orlando is said to be dating model Miranda Kerr, but she was nowhere to be found. Hmm, could this be true? Jen snagging Orlando wouldn’t be such a bad catch. You know a girl has to keep busy in between filming Desperate Housewives and missing a hubby who’s always out of town. Eva Longoria bypassed learning how to knit and just decided to open a new restaurant. The photogs were working late last night and they found Ms. Eva at her new hotspot, Beso, in Hollywood. Beso is Spanish for ‘kiss’, by the way, in case y’all were wondering. Eva’s been plagued with pregnancy rumors lately, but she’s denying it. I guess there won’t be a little mini-Parker anytime soon. Eva’s also been seen around town with new BFF Victoria Beckham. She even accompanied Vicks and her son at a shopping expedition last week. Anyway, hope the food is good at your eatery, Eva!

Victoria Beckham and Eva Longoria had a little shopping spree in Beverly Hills yesterday and Victoria’s son Romeo came along for the ride. The trio first lunched with Katie Holmes at the Beverly Hills Hotel but Katie decided to go home rather than deal with the inevitable paparazzi throng. And you know when the paparazzi gather in Beverly Hills, there’s bound to be some casualties, like in the two pictures below. I, too, get giddy when I get a haircut that I just love to death. It looks like Eva Longoria got just the hairstyle she wanted yesterday after she left the Ken Paves Salon in Beverly Hills. Then again, spending time with one of your BFF’s can also make you giddy. Ken Paves is one of Eva’s good friends. I guess he spreads his time between Eva and Jessica Simpson (also a Paves client/BFF). Well, we’re glad you love your hair, Eva. She looks like she got a blowout. Good times to all!

Good times – our lovely video dude got Eva Longoria on the set of Desperate Housewives. I posted the pics that accompany this video, but it’s totally different when you see movement. Yes, movement. Anyway, in this particular scene, Gabrielle is grocery shopping, and as sexy as grocery shopping can be. Eva does a really good job of playing Gabby – witchy scenes and all. I wonder what type of movie role will finally graduate her into the big screen. Obviously the ghost-romantic comedy thing doesn’t work, so maybe she should try action. But enough of my rambling and go check out the video.

ABC really wants to make up for the writers’ strike, so they’ve got the ladies of Desperate Housewives working tons. Our photog caught Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman today on set as they filmed in the valley. It looks like the ladies were on break. It also looks like Felicity’s hair is wet on the pic below. I guess she wanted to freshen up. I believe new episodes of the show will start to air on April 13. In the meantime, you can check out Eva and Felicity on set below. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria was at STK Restaurant last night for a dinner date with Victoria Beckham. No one caught Vicks arriving, but we have pictures of Eva coming and going below. Eva was at Victoria’s son’s birthday party last week, so I guess the two are buddies. Eva just opened a new restaurant, Beso, in Hollywood. Why didn’t they just meet up there? I guess the two do have a lot in common, both being married to professional athletes. Maybe they’re comparing notes. Victoria’s had her share of infidelity rumors with Becks and Eva’s starting to deal with that stuff, too. I’m sure Vicks can give her some pointers on how to play it cool. Well, you know what I mean. Since the writers’ strike is over (hip hip hooray!), things in Hollywood are starting to go back to normal (or as normal as it can be here in Hollywood). Eva Longoria and her co-stars have gone back to work filming Desperate Housewives. Our lovely photogs caught her on the set filming in Glendale with her poochie in tow. Eva was very supportive of the writers during their strike, even bringing over pizza for the strikers in the beginning. I wonder what she did to pass time during the strike. It’s a day of Eva’s today, but this time we have Eva Longoria trying to figure out which pair of shoes to buy at Saks in New York City. Okay, I’m sure she can probably afford to buy more than a pair, but she looks a bit confused in these pictures. It also looks like she has a Christian Louboutin pair in front of her that she’s ignoring. For shame. And is that her buddy next to her or a Saks sales person? He’s very casual with his clients if he was a sales clerk, but I really doubt Saks employees are that chill. At any rate, just buy a pair of heels and a pair of boots, Eva. That’s my advice. There’s still a lot of cold winter weather left, so the boots will come in handy. Good times.

So I’m not fully on board the name change yet. It’s going to take a while to get used to the additional sur-name. Am I supposed to hyphenate it, too? I’ll have to ask around but I don’t think it’ll matter much to PETA once they get Eva in their sights. Remember when PETA created the monnikers ‘The Trollsen Twins’ for Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen? I can imagine what they’ll do to Eva’s name already. Probably Eva Fangoria or something like that. I doubt even PETA will use her new last name! These pictures were probaby taken just before her Over My Dead Body premiere last night, but they’re definitely worth a glance. Eva Longoria was out and about with her mom yesterday and the two had a special spa day at the Ken Paves Salon in Beverly Hills. Ken Paves, hairstylist to the stars, is a good friend of Eva’s. She and her mom were all smiles and its a well known fact that Eva’s very close to her family. Corpus Christi-born Eva is every bit a down home Texas girl. She was a huge San Antonio Spurs fan even before she met her husband, Tony Parker. She recently got a tattoo of his playing number (9). The Desperate Housewives star and her basketball playing husband had to deal with some ugly rumors at the end of last year claiming Tony cheated on her with a French model. Tony retaliated by suing another photo agency, X-17, for reporting the false claim. I haven’t heard any updates on the lawsuit, but I’ll definitely give y’all more details when they come.
