A Look Back At Gwen’s Preggy Chic

Now that Zuma Nesta Rock is finally here, rocker mom Gwen Stefani will most likely go back to her adorable array of outfits once she gets her pre-baby bod back (and she will…just watch). But pregnancy didn’t exactly stop the ultra-chic Gwen from bringing her own zing to maternity wear. So, in commemoration of Zuma Nesta Rock coming into the world, let’s take a look back at some of the fabulous outfits Gwen donned while he was still in her tummy. Enjoy.
Gwen partnered this beautiful yellow and brown print dress with strappy sandals and a her favorite big bag (she’s carried it a lot this summer). She’s all about accessories, but Gwen’s best one is her smile. She’s always wearing it and it’s always in fashion!
There’s that bag again, this time worn with a beautiful green and blue flowing skirt and a cute belt. And as always, the big sunglasses.

Reese Not Into Labels

Clad in a Nike cap and Adidas shorts, Reese Witherspoon readied for a jog yesterday in her Brentwood neighborhood. Our photogs found the Oscar-winning actress doing her stretches and yes, she wasn’t too pleased about being spotted. Reese, who is currently dating cutie-pie Jake Gyllenhaal, has a couple of movies coming up. The first one, Four Christmases, is a comedy set to open during Thanksgiving weekend this year. It’s about a couple struggling to visit all four of their divorced parents on Christmas Day and Vince Vaughn gets the lucky job of being Reese’s leading man. She then lends her voice to Monsters vs. Aliens, an animated feature scheduled for release March 2009. More photos of Reese getting ready for her job are available after the jump. Check them out.
LC Is Emmy-bound

So she might not ever win an Emmy, unless she ditches FIDM in lieu of acting school, but Lauren Conrad is determined to be involved with the Emmys. The Hills star got a pretty big break by garnering a chance to design a dress for the next Emmy telecast. Lauren has been commissioned to create a “couture red carpet gown” for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards, the TV academy announced yesterday. The dress (or dresses) will be worn by the “trophy girls” who carry Emmy statuettes on-stage for presenters to hand to winners. Lauren, of course, is excited and already envisions the type of dress she wants to design. “I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist,” she said in a statement. Lauren’s own clothing line was recently nixed off the racks at the Kitson store here in Los Angeles and the reality star’s fashion credentials have been questioned numerous times. That’s why this particular project is so important for Lauren. The Emmy telecast still garners quite an audience and there will be folks who’ll tune in just to see what she designs (not to mention all the celebs who’ll be in attendance seeing her work). Better get to sketchin’, LC!

What in the is right. What in the hell is Rachel Bilson wearing? That’s all I want to know. The dress is adorable, if not a tad too long, but it could definitely be pulled off with some heels. The bag, again is a very adorable piece, but it’s too busy to be thrown in with this dress. The purse needs to be matched up with a mono-chromatic outfit - maybe a black pencil skirt, cute fitting top and flats. And the shoes…well, her sandals are also doable, but maybe if they’re worn with cute jean shorts (like the one Rachel’s colorful friend is wearing) or a shorter skirt. There, that’s what Rachel should’ve done. She has three different outfits combined into one here. Oye. We’ll give Rach a break, though, since she’s usually looking adorable. Plus, she was spotted leaving House of Pies yesterday, so I know she at least has great taste in yummy food. HOP has the best strawberry cheesecake in the world. And universe. Yeah, The Truck Drivers Were Probably First

Don’t say women are the only ones who are catty because guys can get just as bad. Case in point - Justin Timberlake. The ‘SexyBack’ star graces the new issue of Fashion Rocks magazine and he talks about the sickening fashion trend that was the trucker hat and his role in its rise to fame. “It’s funny,” Justin says in the new issue of the magazine. “I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before. Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen.” Trace, of course, is Justin’s childhood friend and partner in his Rast fashion line. This story is amusing at all levels because, hello, truckers have been wearing trucker hats for, like, ever. Even longer than forever, I think. So, really, why even call out Ashton Kutcher? Is this really necessary? They’re trucker hats for goodness sakes. Trucker. Hats. Go meow about something else, Justin.
