The Housewives Coming Back

ABC really wants to make up for the writers’ strike, so they’ve got the ladies of Desperate Housewives working tons. Our photog caught Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman today on set as they filmed in the valley. It looks like the ladies were on break. It also looks like Felicity’s hair is wet on the pic below. I guess she wanted to freshen up. I believe new episodes of the show will start to air on April 13. In the meantime, you can check out Eva and Felicity on set below. It looks like Gabrielle went to the grocery store. Ah, the drama.
The Scavos Are Back!

Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria weren’t the only Desperate Housewives stars who showed up on set yesterday in Glendale - the Scavos made it, too. TV couple Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant were really glad to see each other, as you can see in these photos. The two haven’t had a chance to do any kissy-faces since the writers’ strike, so they wanted to make up for it. Not all primetime shows are returning on air after the strike, but since DH is so popular, ABC made sure to get started on filming as soon as possible. Felicity Huffman, one of our favorite desperate housewives, was seen going to lunch at the world famous Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills. Looking quite chic in a grey skirt suit and silky hair, she kind of looks like a shampoo commercial or something. And that’s a compliment. Felicity plays a great Lynette Scavo on Desperate Housewives and her role is probably the most relateable out of the whole bunch. She’s married to award-winning actor William H. Macy and they have two daughters. Can you imagine being in this household? Felicity and William are true thespians - we’re talking about Oscar-caliber actors here. I wonder if they practice their lines with each other. Felicity won a well-deserved Golden Globe for her portrayal of a transgender woman in Transamerica, an excellent film you’ll have to check out if you haven’t already.
