Courteney Invites A “Friend” To “Cougar Town”

Proving friends stick together, Lisa Kudrow has signed to guest on “Cougar Town,” which stars former “Friends” castmate Courteney Cox. EW reports that Kudrow’s episode will air in early 2010, and Cox adds, “She’ll play a dermatologist that my character can’t stop going to even though [she's] mean to me.”
Sounds cool—it will be fun to see these two actresses interact again. Wonder if Kudrow’s mean M.D. could become a recurring character?

Matt’s Back – Showtime Has Him

After taking several years off to lick his wounds from the failure of his last series, former “Friends” star Matt LeBlanc is returning to TV.
Showtime has announced that the actor will star in a “comedy series about a British couple whose hit UK show is turned into a dumbed-down American sit-com” starring LeBlanc as himself. Well, we know he has the “dumbed-down part” down pat already. Entitled “Episodes,” the show will debut on Showtime and BBC Two in 2010.
While this doesn’t sound like a guaranteed winner, it’s gotta be better than “Joey.”

Monday, March 23rd, 2009Courtney Cox is seen on the Van Nuys set of Cougar Town wearing a full length white parka to stave off the cold or the paparazzi. Either way, with the luck the cast of Friends has had with spin offs and other telesvision ventures, she should be running around in a bikini to help generate early publicity. And Joey sucked so don’t even bring that up!
