Heather Won’t Move To “Melrose”

It looks like there will be a vacancy at the new “Melrose Place.” Heather Locklear will not be moving in.
US reports that the former Amanda Woodward has turned down a part on the upcoming CW soaper, despite being actively courted by the producers. The likely problem is, not surprisingly, money. The actress has been rumored to be holding out for $100,000 an episode, and the producers just don’t have the budget to meet her price.
Too bad. The cast so far sounds as exciting as lukewarm milk, and they could use a feisty cougar like Heather to spice things up.

Heather And Richie – Together Again?

Maybe—Star reports that divorced parents Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear were looking more like a a dating couple during their daughter Ava’s soccer game last week. The pair drove to the game in one car and sat closely together. A source told Star, “At one point, she gave him a neck massage.”
Another souce staed, “They still care about each other and are flirting with the possibility of getting back together.”
Since Heather’s relationship with fiancé seems to be stalled, Richie may see the chance to swoop in and get his family back together!

Heather Beats DUI Charge

Heather Locklear can start 2009 with a fresh start since her DUI case has been dismissed. TMZ reports that Locklear’s legal eagle Blair Berk appeared in Santa Barbara court this morning to have the actress plead no contest to reckless driving, a misdemeanor. The “Melrose Place” star got off with three years informal probation, a $700 fine, and a 12-hour drug education course.
I hope this will be a wake-up call for Heather—she might not get off as easy next time.

Heather Charged With DUI

Heather Locklear has finally been formally charged one one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs nearly two months after her arrest September 27. Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter told E! News that that “no alcohol or illegal narcotics of any kind” were found in her system at the time of her bust. He added:
“It was prescription medications only…For privacy reasons I cannot say which prescriptions they were…If you are taking a prescription medication and it affects you such that you are no longer safe to operate a motor vehicle, you could be violating the law. It’s an individual thing.”
Locklear will be arraigned January 26. When will people realize that legal drugs can get you into just as much trouble as illegal ones?

Heather’s DUI Case Still Pending

It’s been over a month since Heather Locklear was arrested in Montecito, CA, on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance but so far, no charges have been filed against the actress. The Santa Barbara D.A.’s office is still reviewing the case so it looks like Heather will have to wait a bit longer to find out whether she faces any charges for the incident.
