It’s not unusual for a guy to become attached to his favorite jeans, but teen dream Zac Efron went the extra mile to break in a new pair. The Disney star told WWD that he wore his G-Star jeans constantly for two months to get that lived-in look.

“They’re my favorite jeans. I wore them all throughout ‘High School Musical 3.’ I even wore them hiking. You have to wear them everywhere to get them right.” Sure, the jeans look perfectly cool, but I hope Zac washed them a few times during the breaking-in period!

Disney doll Vanessa Hudgens has her eye on more grow-up roles—but would Uncle Walt approve?

The “High School Musical” actress told E!, ”I will show nudity in a film when the time is right,” but added this condition. “Right now, I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing it, but like I said, when the time’s right, if it’s an amazing movie that I’m really passionate about and that’s what it calls for, then we’ll see.”

Hudgens gave no hint of when that part might come along, so her young male fans don’t need to get their hormones racing yet.

“High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale looked rocker chic as she carried a pair of spike heels into SIR Entertainment Services in Hollywood, CA. Can we expect a harder edge from her next album?

He couldn’t top fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus’ total from last weekend, but Zac Efron ranked number one at the box office this week with “17 Again.”

The AP reports the film handily beat out Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck’s “State of Play” to rake in $24.1 million. This certainly bodes well for Zac’s future beyond Disney’s “High School Musical” franchise. 

Earlier this week, Disney heartthrob Zac Efron bailed from the remake of 80s hit film “Footloose” in order to concentrate on meatier parts. Now he seems to have gotten his wish.

Variety reports Efron is in talks with director Burr Steers about a role in “The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.” Steers previously directed the “High School Musical” star in “17 Again.” Variety states the film is taken from a book “about a caretaker at a cemetery who manages to have weekly meetings with a younger brother whose accidental death he feels was his fault.”

Meanwhile, Efron can be seen in “17 Again” when it debuts April 17. It takes guts for a teen idol to risk re-inventing himself as an adult star. Let’s hope Zac’s risk pays off.

Disney’s “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” passed with flying colors at this week’s box office, taking in an estimated $42 million. This is the largest opening weekend ever for a musical, topping “Mamma Mia!”’s $27.8 million. Does this show the power of the franchise—or the stars? I guess Disney will find out when they release “HSM 4″ with a new cast of inknowns instead of the old favorites.

Reports of dreamboat Zac Efron taking over Orlando Bloom’s role in the next “Pirates of the Caribbean” film have proved to be, alas, premature. Zac was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show today to promote “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” when he told the host, “Honestly, at this time it’s just a rumor.” He added, “I wish I was going to be in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 4,’ so hopefully that will happen for me.” Given that he’s the hottest teen heartthrob around these days, and both “HSM” and “Pirates” are Disney franchises, it just might.

So here’s Ashley Tisdale and her cute as a button nose leaving Neiman Marcus. I know she’s gotten lots of heat for her nose but I like it. I can tell you that I don’t think orange is Ashley’s color but I am digging her saddle bag of a purse. It’d be the style of bag I’d be wearing on a walk-about, if I ever went on one.

Vanessa Hudgens has been doing her best to keep from getting photographed by paparazzi the last few days but it hasn’t stopped us from trying! Uli and Jonzen, along with the third member of the trio, Galo, spent some time with Vanessa. And just as Uli predicts, the High School Musical star tries to cover her face as she exits a North Hollywood dance studio. Of course it doesn’t make for good pictures, but the video is pretty funny. Brace yourselves for another adventure with the boys of Pap 101.

“We are writing High School Musical 4.” This is what Disney Channel Worldwide President Rich Ross told the Hollywood Reporter Tuesday. Although they have yet to start filming High School Musical 3, Disney is already in the works to put out HSM4. Ross did tell Hollywood Reporter that he doesn’t think all the original cast members will be back, but they’ll be introducing new characters in HSM3. Vanessa Hudgens already said that HSM3 would be her last, as did Ashley Tisdale. I’m going to assume Zac is also not returning in the fourth installment. Who knows, though. For the right price, we might see the same cast in HSM4. In the meantime, filming for HSM3 will begin later on this month in Utah.

I know there are a few Zac Efron fans out there who enjoy seeing photos of Zac doing just about anything. How do I know this? Because I get about a hundred emails from you guys every time I post pictures of Zac letting me know that you enjoy pictures of Zac doing just about anything! Actually, I get asked a couple questions over and over again so I’ll go ahead and answer them now so I don’t have to read a hundred emails today. First, no, I don’t have Zac’s phone number. Second, no, I can’t tell you where he lives. Finally, no, I can’t let you know where he’s filming next. I know I run the risk of getting a hundred angry emails now but there you go. But take comfort in these pictures of Zac playing basketball on the set of ‘17′ taken a couple days ago. Also, just to tease you guys a bit, I’ll be posting another Zac set of later today of him having fun with a new Audi R8. Oh yeah, just because my niece said it was such cute picture, I’ve also got a picture of Zac with a little whip cream on his lip after taking a drink of hot chocolate. Ok, not really, but here he is anyway. We caught Zac on the set of 17 again and this time he’s a passenger in a yellow Lamborghini Convertible. I’m not sure where this scene fits into the rest of the movie, but Zac’s got a hold of a police light for a what may be hot pursuit in the yellow sports car. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens spent some ‘Zanessa’ time together as the couple lunched at Patty’s in the Valley over the weekend. The couple took  advantage of a break in each others schedules to meet up for lunch where they likely discussed automobiles where later in the weekend, Vanessa picked up an Audi A6 convertible of her own. We’ll have pictures of that soon, so keep checking back.

We caught Zac Efron and Mathew Perry on the set of ‘Seventeen’ today and I’m not sure if you guys have noticed, but that Zac is a pretty good looking fella. Zac flashed that Zacarific smile of his while he strolled around the set in his leather and shades while Mathew was buttoned down in his coat and tie. It was also Zac’s girlfriend Vanessa’s birthday today and she spent it shopping with her mother while Zac brought home the bacon. I wonder what a young guy like Zac, who’s got the world by the tail, gives his girlfriend for her birthday?

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens spent most of yesterday inside at Zac’s place, obviously to hide from the uncharacteristically blistering Southern California cold. The high reached a bone chilling 65 degrees which is more than enough to keep any young couple inside for the majority of the day! The chivalrous Zac later drove Vanessa home where she hid her face from our cameras for some reason. Wonder what she was hiding from us!

Not content with one goodbye, Zac ran in to have another private goodbye session with his lady. Afterwards, Zac spent about 15 minutes at the gym before heading to the set of ‘Seventeen’, which he’s been filming here in Southern California. Check out the exclusive video and pictures below.

We caught Zac Efron on the set of his new movie Seventeen, which is being shot here in sunny Southern California. This is Zac’s second post-High School Musical movie and it’s good to see that he’s taking it so seriously dressed in short sleeves, shorts and Nike’s. OK I’m kidding! He’s dressed like that because the scene being filmed is actually a backyard basketball scene. So he is actually in costume! Zac must have skipped breakfast or acting must be pretty hard work because Zac’s not messing around with the craft services. Check out those guns he’s sporting! I’m not sure if Zac’s going to be singing in ‘Seventeen’ but he sure ain’t messing around when it comes to his image.
