Well, if Denise Richards can have a reality show, then why not Janet Jackson? And don’t ask me why I would compare Denise to Janet. Okay, back to the news. Variety is reporting that Ms. Jackson (if you’re nasty) is developing her very own reality show with MTV. It will be another music competition show and Janet will reportedly mentor a group of aspiring singers and dancers. “It’s really about finding who’s the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher,” said exec producer Dave Broome. “And we’ll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn’t typically find it from. We’ll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centers and try to cast the show.” Good times. This show already has a loyal audience in Janet Jackson’s fans. JJ’s fans are notorious for supporting everything Janet and I for one can’t wait to see how the new show turns out!

It’s Ms. Jackson, if you’re nasty. Nasty boys…don’t mean a thing…blah, blah, blah. Man, Janet’s old songs are still her best! I guess if anyone in the music industry should be writing a book, Janet Jackson is as good a candidate as any. Besides being the mega-star that she is, she belongs to one of the most infamous families in all of celebrity universe. USA Today is reporting that she will be penning a book about her struggles with weight and self-esteem. It will also contain lifestyle and healthy tips from Janet’s nutritionist. This is sounding more like a self-help book. If you’re interested, the book will be out in November, just in time for Christmas shopping.
