DJ AM Back In Action

Less than a month after the fiery small-plane crash that took four lives and seriously burned DJ AM and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the DJ was back on the job Wednesday night. DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) appeared with Jay-Z at the concert celebrating the reopening of Hollywood’s historic Palladium. While showing scars from skin grafts on his neck and arm, he didn’t miss a beat as he rapped along with Jay-Z. DJ AM will resume his regular gig in Vegas at Caesar’s Palace Pure nightclub starting Tuesday. His speedy recovery is even more remarkable given that doctors at the Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA, found a blood clot in his leg that could have proved fatal if not treated. In his first interview since the crash, Goldstein told People magazine that the clot was likely due to his frantic schedule of flying to clubs all over the country. Will he slow down in the future? Probably not but he stated to People that he has “a great deal of faith that everything happens for a reason.”

Yep, They’re Married

After much speculation, Us Magazine is reporting that Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles are officially married. Geez, did they have to go through all that trouble to hide the fact that they’re married? I guess it did fuel a lot of press, so in that sense it worked. The couple applied for their marriage license in Scarsdale, NY on April 1 and tied the knot on April 4. The Scarsdale office received their signed marriage license last Friday. So there you go, it’s official. I’m sort of sappy, so I’m totally happy to hear that Jay and B are really married. Congratulations (again) to the couple.

PETA’s Wedding Gift To Beyonce

Although they’ve kept mum about it and have yet to confirm their marriage, PETA still decided to send Beyonce and Jay-Z a wedding gift. Beyonce, who has donned a fur coat or two, wasn’t exactly one of PETA’s favorite celebs in the past. In 2006 the animal rights organization “ambushed” Beyonce by showing her a DVD of animals being slaughtered during a dinner they secretly bid on and won on an eBay auction. I guess PETA has been keeping an eye out on B lately and found that the singer did not wear fur this past winter. How they kept an eye on her all winter long still fascinates me. Anyway, PETA sent Beyonce and Jay-Z a throw blanket from the ultra-luxe faux fur maker Fabulous Furs and a very nice congratulatory note. I don’t think PETA should wait for a thank you note.

Hova’s Wedding Day?

These two just got a marriage license on Tuesday, but they might be speeding things along. After six years of dating, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) may be marrying today. People.com is reporting that flower arrangements and video camera equipment were delivered this morning at J-Hova’s Tribeca apartment. The theme of the wedding is white and the number four. I guess the two both have birthdays on the 4th (Jay-Z in December and Beyonce in September). Okay, this makes sense since it is April 4th today. They’ve probably been planning this for a while but have managed to keep on the down low. Congrats to the couple…um, if it’s true!

Hip Hop Wedding?

Could it be true? Are Jay-Z and Beyonce really getting married? People.com reported that the couple obtained a marriage license yesterday. Reps for both artists have not confirmed this, of course, but there are witnesses who say that the two were at Scarsdale Village Hall in NY getting the license. Then again, it was also April Fool’s Day yesterday, so I have no clue if it’s true or not. The two have been dating since 2002 and have done a pretty good job keeping their relationship under wraps. I always see pictures of them with Jay twenty feet ahead and B’s just walking behind him. They definitely don’t do PDA, that’s for sure. Well, I’m just going to report that there is news that Jay-Z and Beyonce got a marriage license. Let’s hope it’s true.
