With numerous boyfriends and a broken engagement in her past, but no “happily ever after” so far, is Jennifer Love Hewitt really the best person to be handing out advice on romance?
Probably not, but People reports the actress has landed a deal to pen a tome called “The Day I Shot Cupid,” which will give all her handy hints for dating, breaking up, then dating and breaking up some more.
Why is Hewitt writing this book? Her statement from Voice publishers says, “I thought it was time to share the real story of what I’ve learned navigating the dating waters. Hopefully, in addition to having a good laugh, women reading this will learn from some of my hard lessons.”
But has the “Ghost Whisperer” star learned anything from her own experiences? If she’s Love-less when the book comes out next March, it’s headed for the bargain bin.

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s “Ghost Whisperer” co-star Jamie Kennedy has let their secret out—the two are dating. US Weekly reports that Kennedy ‘fessed up today on on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “Yes, we are dating,” the actor said. ”Wow, I’ve never said that.”
Rumors have been flying about the pair since Hewitt broke off her engagement to Ross McCall over the holidays. Both had previously denied the romance but today Kennedy gushed to Seacrest, ”We’re more than dating … we’re more than in love.”
Let’s hope these two stay in love as long as the show’s on the air or things could get very uncomfortable on the set.
