Jerry O’Connell’s acting career seems to have taken a backseat to that of his wife, Rebecca Romijn. While his better half is busy working on her series “Eastwick,” Jerry stays home, playing Mr. Mom to the couple’s 10-month-old twin girls, Dolly and Charlie.

The actor has put his experience to use by penning a memoir entitled “Cry, Feed, (Make Love to Wife), Burp,” which will be published by Ballantine Books. According to MediaBistro, “O’Connell will describe life as a very 21st century father in a land of celebrity, the sterile California suburbs, and two-for-one diaper changing—everything from the moment he was told it was time for him to be a father, through the trials and tribulations of conception and childbirth, to the joys and disasters and joys again of staying home to raise two new babies.”

Hey, if it’s a best-seller Jerry can have a career that’s more lucrative than acting has been lately.

Jerry O’Connell had lunch at Michael D’s Cafe in Woodland Hills, then stopped at Gelson’s and UPS before heading back home to wife Rebecca Romijn and the twins in Calabasas, CA. Jerry is set to guest star with Rebecca on her ABC TV show “Eastwick.”

Busy dad Jerry O’Connell obviously had his hands full, as he took twins Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip out for a hike at Topanga Canyon in Calabasas CA. Fortunately, a friendly photog offered to hold down the stroller while he fetched the family pooch out the car.

Jerry O’Connell took some time off from daddy diaper duty to go jogging with the family pooch in Calabasas Tuesday. He’s had to look at a whole lot of diapers this month since he and wife Rebecca Romijn became the proud parents of beautiful twin girls!

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell gave pal Howard Stern the happy task of announcing the birth of their twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. The shock jock revealed the news on his Sirius tadio show this morning. E! News reports that the  babes, born on December 28, were named in honor of Dolly Parton and  O’Connell’s brother, Charlie.

Very pregnant “Ugly Betty” co-star Rebecca Romijn told Page Six magazine that carrying twin girls is taking its toll.

“I can’t move anymore…I’m a beached whale! I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!” 

If those twinsies come out looking like Rebecca and not hubby Jerry O’Connell, they’ll have modeling contracts before they’re toilet trained.

Jerry O’Connell is excited to be a father and he’s telling everyone about it. Actually, he recently told Entertainment Tonight about it and they told everyone else. Jerry and wife Rebecca Romjin are expecting twin girls in approximately four months, according to Jerry himself. “I am excited I am having girls,” Jerry told ET’s Kevin Frazier. “I know guys are supposed to say, ‘I want a boy. I want to play baseball,’ but I think I am going to be good raising girls.” Jerry also admitted that he and Rebecca have been thinking of baby names. “We were thinking about rhyming their names,” Jerry says, “but then is that a little ‘Hansel & Gretel’?” Um, yes it is, Jerry. Don’t even think about it. Regarding his parenting style, the Stand By Me actor already knows he’ll be a very stern father. “They are only having sex when I die,” he joked with Kevin. “If they don’t date boys at all and just want to be infatuated with their father that is what I am going for.” Aww, so sweet!

A couple of Hollywood baby news today. Ugly Betty star Rebecca Romjin and husband Jerry O’Connell are expecting twin girls. The first-time parents were married in July of last year. Rebecca, who is on the August cover of Self Magazine, told the publication that she was ready to have kids. “Hopefully, I’ll have children, if I’m lucky enough,” she said. Jerry, meanwhile, just told People Magazine over a week ago that they were “trying to get pregnant.” Well, I guess they really tried their very best and it worked. Congratulations to the happy couple! In other Hollywood baby news, Matt Damon and wife Luciana are also expecting a little girl. The couple already have two daughters, Alexia, 9, and Isabella, 2. It’s raining babies in tinsletown!
