Saturday Night Live alumni Jimmy Fallon will soon be putting you to sleep. Variety Magazine is reporting that the comedian will be taking over Conan O’Brien’s slot when Conan takes over Jay Leno’s post in early 2009. Jimmy has some late night hosting experience – he was a guest host on Craig Kilborn’s late night show for a few episodes. Conan, reportedly will be moving his show to Los Angeles. Good times! I think Jimmy’s a good choice for the gig, but we’ll have to see how successful he is in Conan’s spot. But I’m super excited about Conan moving to an earlier time slot. That guy’s hilarious. No word yet if Jay Leno will be moving to another station, but Fox and ABC are said to be interested in snagging him.
