We have yet another example of how teen love rarely leads to eternal happiness. It looks like Joe Jonas has had enough of catty comments by his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, who not-so-coincidentally has a new album out this week. In the Bros MySpace blog, he wrote:
“I never cheated on a girlfriend. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on.”
Ouch! Maybe he’s, like, just not that into you, ya know?

Tsylor Swift is poised to get revenge on her inconsiderate ex Joe Jonas where it hurts—on the charts. Taylor’s new album was released yesterday and is projected to sell 600,000 copies in its debut week. The Jonas Bros’ most recent effort moved 525,000 in its first week. Taylor also won a BMI award last night for her song “Teardrops on My Guitar” and she’s nominated for the CMA Awards tonight. Joe’s new model gf has done—what?
JoBro Can Expect Swift Retribution

Maybe Joe Jonas should have been a bit more sensitive than to break up with multi-platinum country singer songwriter Taylor Swift over the phone. The 18-year-old songstress lamented on her blog that she was “sitting in my kitchen…eating Cool Whip. And trying to think of things to do with my free time. Other than talking to my cat and making playlists of sad songs.” But don’t expect this hot blonde babe to be lonely too long. She doesn’t get mad—she gets even. She skewered a past beau in “Should’ve Said No” from her debut album so it’s unlikely Joe will get off easy. I’m expecting a done-her-wrong song that will make Miley’s “7 Things” look like a tender love ballad. When will these JoBros learn not to dump teen singing stars who enjoy taking their pain to the bank?
Jonas Bros. Take A 50’s Turn

The Jonas Brothers continued to shoot their video/concert tour footage in Los Angeles over the weekend. Ironically, the 50’s themed shoot leads me to believe that the Brothers may have in fact been born 58 years too late considering their values sorta peaked back in the 50’s and have fallen off a little since then.

The Jonas Brothers hit up a Big 5 in Beverly Hills yesterday. Each one of them took an opportunity to show off their purity rings which I happen to think is a cool thing. Speaking as a father, I’d rather listen to the Jonas Brothers in the car on the way to school than most morning radio talk shows. Then you have someone like Courtney Love speaking out against the Brothers. She said to TMZ, “They are completely not rock n’ roll. I can’t stand that s**t!” Of course, this coming from the biggest Yoko Ono of our generation since… well, Yoko Ono! Courtney singlehandedly dealt the biggest blow to Rock and Roll so she should really keep her mouth shut and try not to be the self-appointed spokesperson for Rock music. Leave the boys alone.
