Nicole’s Home From The Hospital

Friends and family of Nicole Richie are breathing easier today because she’s back at home following a health scare. The new mom checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier in the week to be treated for pneumonia.
But she’s feeling better now, as her baby daddy Joel Madden posted today: “So I stepped off the plane after a month out of the country, and basically went straight to the hospital for the week. But don’t worry all is well and we are home with no problems. I was supposed to go into the studio a finish the last few vocals for the record, but that had to wait. Family first.” Good news, Nicole—take care of yourself. Those babies need their mom!

For celebs, making money off your name gets easier all the time. Now Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden and Audrina Patridge have signed endorsement deals for their Twitter accounts.
The Wrap reports L.A. based ad agency Ad.ly has set up a new viral marketing strategy that hooks up famous names with advertisers and pays them for the number of followers on Twitter who view their ads. Ad.ly publicist Kyle Hulcher explained, “It’s an easy way to make money. It’s a natural fit for celebrities because the more people who read you the more money you can make—and they tend to have the most followers.” Too bad we unknown folks can’t make money that easily.

Is Lindsay Jealous Of Nicole?

On-and-off couple Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson have been mostly off lately, but Linds is still trying to pick who Sam’s allowed to pal around with. It’s not a big secret that Sam’s family and many of her friends are less than fond of Lindsay and her tiresome antics. Now the DJ has become closer with an old bud, and her sometime lover’s not happy about it!
A haggard Lindsay spent Friday in court for a probation hearing, but that night Samantha was seen partying it up at Playhouse Hollywood with new mom Nicole Richie and her man Joel Madden. Nicole and Linds were party pals in their wilder days—like three years ago—but now Nicole has settled down to a quiet life with Joel and their two beautiful babies, while distancing herself from Lindsay’s chaotic lifestyle.
A source told Fox News, “Nicole has made it very clear to Lindsay and to their mutual friends that she wants a better life for her. Nicole hopes Lindsay will get it together and change her behavior, but until she makes a change, Nicole avoids her.” This makes Lindsay feel that Samantha is being disloyal. “Lindsay takes her hanging out with Nicole personally [and] as an attack on their on/off relationship,” the source added. It sounds like Sam is looking to get away from her toxic relationship with Lindsay and move on, but with this volatile pair, you can’t predict anything.

They’re one of Hollywood’s happiest couples, but don’t call them Mr. and Mrs. yet! Despite a cover story from The Star, new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have not tied the knot.
Madden posted on the Good Charlotte site, “I keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.” OK, we believe you! But I don’t think the parents of adorable little Harlow and Sparrow will be unwed forever.

Nicole’s Fender Bender

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden left the scene of a Beverly Hills auto accident in which the new mom was slightly injured.
Lt. Tony Lee of the Beverly Hills Police told People, “Ms. Richie was driving with a passenger around 2 p.m. when she was struck by two photographers driving in one vehicle behind her. She complained of pain … Her car sustained moderate damage. No paramedics were called to the scene. She told officers she was going to seek her own medical treatment, so it’s unknown if she’s headed to a hospital or not.” Richie was later taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
