Singer and serial dater John Mayer filled up his black Ferrari with petrol in Calabasas, CA, over the weekend. Wonder how many miles that baby gets to the gallon?

John Mayer has revealed his plans for the weekend—he’ll be GF Jennifer Aniston’s arm candy at Sunday’s Academy Awards bash. Mayer told PopSugar:

“I’ll give you the scoop. I’m going to the Oscars. That’s a PopSugar scoop. It’s my first Oscars. And it’s my first being an Oscar boyfriend. After that night I have a deal almost signed in blood that says I must go into the studio and finish this record. So after Oscar Sunday, Monday morning I’m invisible.”

Good work, Jen! All eyes will be on the two of you as you walk the red carpet. Unless somebody more famous shows up at the same time to upstage you. At least you won’t have to go solo while ex-hubby Brad and new love Angelina Jolie and both nominated for Oscars. Do try not to giggle if/when they lose.

John Mayer’s been neglecting his lady Jennifer Aniston—and another rocker may be waiting his chance to swoop in and steal her away.

Gatecrasher reports that while the two got together for a Super Bowl party over the weekend, Jen’s not his top priority. Their source stated, “John’s goal is to keep a low profile this year, and Jen is about as far off from low-profile as you can get. He just wants to keep out of the spotlight and finally concentrate on his music.”

While he’s busy making his record, “Rock of Love” star Bret Michaels is planning to make a move on Jennifer. A pal reports. “Bret is really crushing on Jen. He says she’s the kind of girl you can have a good time with, but can still take home to Mom.”

Hmm… Maybe after all the turmoil of the last few years, a good time is just what Jen needs right now!

At the BlackBerry Touch party last night at Hollywood’s Avalon club, John Mayer ducked all questions about sometime-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston but did tell what he wanted his BlackBerry to be able to do in the future:

“Take the contacts that I shouldn’t have out automatically.”

Does that mean he got busted with a certain busty blonde’s number by his current flame?

Just a few days after being spotted having an intimate dinner with hottie Gerard Butler at her favorite haunt, the Sunset Tower Hotel, Jennifer Aniston was back at the same place but with a different escort—on-and-off again beau John Mayer. This is the first time they’ve been seen together since his birthday earlier this month, but with these two, that doesn’t mean much.

Well, at least they lasted longer than Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong, but that’s not saying much. Sources are confirming today that Jennifer Aniston and her singing beau, John Mayer, are no longer together. Yes, boo hoo hoo. The couple started dating in April, with John making a couple of trips to Miami to visit Jen while she filmed Marley & Me. Jen, meanwhile, returned the favor by attending a few of John’s tour dates around the country and abroad. All seemed lovely, but it may have just not worked. According to Britain’s Daily Mail, the two split up earlier this week and things have been rocky for a while. “There’s been a bit of tension for some time,” said a source close to the 30-year-old singer. “They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly, it doesn’t seem to have worked.” Rumors have it that Jen’s already dating someone else, but who knows how true that is. So, I have no idea who had four months in your Jen/John break-up pool at the office, but whoever it is, they just won some cash.

Take your pick, party people. Both Star and OK! magazines are featuring Jennifer Aniston on the cover of their current issues. OK! is claiming that Jen is ready to wed boyfriend John Mayer. Does John Mayer know about this? Anyway, a “source” close to the actress had this to say: “She’s at an age where she is thinking with her head not just her heart. No way would she still be with anyone if marriage wasn’t a real option.” Meanwhile, Star magazine is claiming that Jennifer is ready to have a kid with John. Again, another “source” close to the actress told Star: “Jen feels so strongly that John is ‘the one.’ She knows he can handle being a dad.” You know these magazine covers are going to scare poor John Mayer away and he’s going to end up dumping Jenny. Okay, let’s hope that doesn’t happen. And as much as I’d love to see a Jennifer Aniston wedding/baby with John Mayer, it’s very doubtful that it’s going to happen anytime soon (if at all with John-John’s record with the females). John Mayer stepped out again yesterday, looking shaved-head delicious after leaving his gym in Hollywood. Okay, I’m definitely diggin’ the new haircut, but I’m definitely not loving these snug workout gear he has on. Who cares, I’m sure Jen is diggin’ them. The Sun newspaper recently reported that expecting rocker couple Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have asked John to be the godfather of their baby. “Pete and John have been spending a lot of time together lately and they get on so well,” a “friend” of the couple told The Sun. “Pete and Ashlee…think he would make a great godparent.” Well, isn’t that special? Imagine Pete and Ash double dating with John and Jen. Wouldn’t that be classic? Yes, it really would. Well, we’ll be waiting for those photos, for sure. …he had to wear shades. Okay, then. Our photogs spotted a very ’80s friendly John Mayer leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills yesterday. John hopped on his tour bus and is headed to the next town he’ll be serenading. Where’s Jennifer Aniston in these photos? Why isn’t she going on tour with her man (like Paris did with Benjie)? John will be performing in Marysville, CA tomorrow, so maybe Jen will join him there. Or maybe not, because I doubt Jennifer Aniston knows where Marysville is, coz’ I certainly don’t. It’s been a really long time since John Mayer’s hooked up with one of his groupies, he told a few fans at the Z100 Lounge at New York City’s Spotlight Live on Tuesday night. Hey, at least he’s being open about all of this. He joked with them about his past trysts: “I might have hooked up with people, but as soon as we hooked up, they weren’t fans anymore.” He went on to explain why he doesn’t have any more dalliances with his fans: “I’m not trusting enough to really open up to anybody I don’t know very well anymore.” And, of course, he has Jenny Aniston to cuddle up with now, so he doesn’t really need extras, now, does he? Of course not.

Jennifer Aniston might not look super interested in anything John Mayer has to say in this picture, but she’s definitely changed her tune. Jen joined John yesterday in Milwaukee, WI to kick off his summer tour. The couple arrived together at the city’s Summerfield Music festival. One festival employee witnessed a very relaxed couple. “They looked cute together,” said the worker. “And she looked like she wasn’t trying too hard, like she was just being herself.” Jennifer also joined John when he performed in London last week, so I’m assuming she must know his set by now. I wonder if she was a John Mayer fan (music-wise) before they started doing the lovey-dovey. Well, if she wasn’t before, she is (at least pretending to be) a fan now. Happy times for the couple.

Is Jennifer Aniston taking a page out of Paris Hilton’s keeping-a-boyfriend manual and following her new honey, John Mayer, on tour? The singer/blogger is currently on tour in Europe and the L.A. Time’s ‘The Dish’ is reporting that Jenny arrived in Amsterdam this week and stayed at the Grand Hotel. John, meanwhile, arrived in the ‘dam on Sunday and stayed at another hotel, but was spotted leaving the Grand Hotel early Tuesday morning. Juicy. Lest you think Jen just went to Europe for John, think again. Jennifer did do some promotional stuff for Marley & Me with her co-star Owen Wilson and the movie’s director. They held a press conference for the movie and the press were told no personal questions would be answered; only questions relating to the movie (which no one’s seen). Good one. So Jennifer must be headed back home now, right? Wrong. Jen accompanied John to London today, where the singer is scheduled to perform until Friday. Thus, the Maniston love tour continues.

See, that title can mean so many things, but I’ll just keep it clean for now. For now. Our photogs caught up with John Mayer leaving a medical office yesterday in Beverly Hills. I think John Mayer’s funny. He really is. Have you read his blog? He’s quite intelligent and amusing. Very dry humor. Anyway, John fancies himself a little smart-aleck, so he wrote out a little description of his prescription (ooh, that rhymed) on his little bag. Yes, obviously it was sort of a cry for attention, but John’s funny like that. He was covering his head a couple of days ago and now he’s writing little “love letters” to the photogs. A little bipolar are we, John? It’s okay, maybe the loving from Jen-Jen is just too good. We understand.

Look how big Michael Jackson’s son has gotten. He must be in college by now. Oh alright, so this really isn’t Blanket Jackson. It’s Jennifer Aniston’s new boyfriend, John Mayer, playing peek-a-boo with the paparazzis yesterday. Why are you being shy, John? I just read a story on the L.A. Times about John being super friendly with the paps, so this little hide and seek game yesterday is really surprising. John’s been hanging out a bunch with his new lady love, Jenny. He even drove around in her SUV the other day after leaving her house. I guess they’re already at that stage where car-sharing is okay. Sounds serious to me. Taking a page right out of the New Couples Rule Book, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer made their romance a little bit more public when spotted together in Malibu this weekend. The duo were on their way to visit Jen’s BFF Courtney Cox to check out her new digs. This is definitely a couple thing to do. You don’t just visit your best friend with a nobody you’re “sort of” dating. You always take someone you know (or you think) will be around for a while. And maybe that’s what Jenn’s thinking with John in this scenario here. The two also reportedly hung out Jen’s Hollywood Hills home all weekend. Nice. I’m sure I’m not the only one rooting for Jen to find someone. Vince might not have worked out, but maybe someone who can sing is more her steelo. We’ll see.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer took a leisurely drive up Pacific Coast Highway over the weekend to visit the Malibu home of Jen’s friends, Courtney Cox and David Arquette. And they brought 30 friends along for the visit. By 30 friends, I mean 30 paparazzi in a huge caravan driving up the coast and by visit I mean they weren’t wanted at all! Either way, I think I figured out  John Mayer’s secret. His secret is that he sings to his gals all the time. It’s like, he hypnotizes them with it or something. Check it out for yourselves. At one point, it looks like Jennifer has had about enough of John and then he starts singing! Then next thing you know she can’t keep her eyes off of him. It’s like voodoo. I guess Mayerston is official. Okay, the press has yet to dub them an official couple name, but that’s the best I can do for now. John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston have been canoodling openly in Miami, where she’s filming Marley & Me. John played a show in Orlando during the weekend and Jen was said to be backstage giving her man kisses in between sets, according to People.com. Across the magazine street – Usmagazine.com is reporting that Jessica Simpson was torn up about the Jen/John pairing. She got super drunk when the couple went public, the magazine says. Drama. Jen is really due for some lovin’, so let’s hope John Mayer doesn’t go through another A.D.D.-relationship with her.

Who knew John Mayer had all that ink on his arms? Well, our photogs found the tatted musician/blogger shopping at Fred Segal in West Hollywood yesterday. John, who briefly dated Cameron Diaz,  paid respects to her late father at a memorial last Sunday. I thought that was very sweet of him. What’s up with John Mayer, you might be wondering. Well, his summer tour will begin July 2 in Milwaukee, if you’re interested. What else? He was seen hanging out and flirting with Pussycat Doll Nicole Sherzinger last week, but that’s old news. I’m sure he’ll be linked to another actress/singer sometime soon. What else? Oh, would someone please tell him to update the blog on his website? Who knew John Mayer was a Pussycat Dolls fan? Apparently, according to the NY Post, John was at L.A. hotspot Villa last night and he was flirting heavily with PD’s Nicole Scherzinger. Nicole was flirting back and enjoying the company, the source also said. The spy goes on to say that the two left the club within minutes of each other. Bootie call perhaps? Who really knows. John’s dated a slew of Hollywood starlets, including Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Let’s just say he’s been around the Hollywood block.
