“Pirates” Set Sail For Hawaii

Disney Studios will be saying “Aloha” to the state of Hawall, as the fourth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise will film this years on Kauai and Oahu. “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stronger Tides” stars Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow and will hit theaters on May 20, 2011.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer explained the choice: “We’ve always sought out the most extraordinary and exotic locations for the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films and previously shot briefly on both Maui and Molokai for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.’ Hawaii provides an amazing range of both land and seascapes and we’re delighted to return for ‘On Stranger Tides.’”
Yeah, Jerry, we all know Hawaii’s beautiful, so you don’t have to sell us. Adding Johnny Depp will just make the location even more scenic!

Depp Plans Spring Wedding

After 10 years and two children, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are planning to finally tie the knot in April.
MTV.UK reports that the pair will say their vows in an intimate ceremony at a chapel on the grounds of their $1.25 million French estate with only 50 guests in attendance. Last month, Depp was spotted shopping for an engagement ring in California. Director Tim Burton is expected to act as Depp’s best man.

First Photo Of Depp As Mad Hatter

Fansite JohnnyDepp.org has just leaked the first photo of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in the upcoming film “Alice in Wonderland.” Tim Burton is directing the film, which also stars Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen and Helena Bonham Carter. The film’s official release date is March 5, 2010.
