JoBros Get Grammy Nom, Taylor Doesn’t

Country songbird Taylor Swift has a new reason to write an unflattering song about her ex Joe Jonas. The 2009 Grammy nominations were announced last night and Taylor was shut out while the Jonas Brothers snagged a nom for Best New Artist. Taylor was up for that one last time but lost to Amy Winehouse. She doesn’t really need any consolation, though, since her new album “Fearless” debuted on the charts last month at #1 and will be platinum very soon if is isn’t already. This week “Fearless” is at number three, ahead of the latest by Guns ‘n Roses, which Axl has been working on since before Taylor was born.
Joe Jonas Has A New Girlfriend

As his ticked-off ex Taylor Swift collects awards and promotes her new album, Joe Jonas has moved on to a new squeeze. Joe’s hooked up with 22-year-old model/actress Camilla Belle, who can be seen in the JoBros’ video “Love Bug.” Not that you’ll ever see them together because their keepers want to protect the illusion that the brothers are all “available.”

Zac Efron’s not the only Disney star looking for new horizons. Variety also reports that all four Jonas Brothers including kid brother Frankie have been signed by Fox for their film “Walter the Farting Dog.” The Walter of the title is a fat dog, who, well, farts a lot. The brothers play musicians whose parents agree to take the dog when his owner, their aunt, dies, unaware of his “problem.” The film is based on a series of best-selling books—do we smell sequels?

Youngest JoBro Nick seems to be turning into quite the love-’em-and-leave-’em Lothario. Just months after his breakup with Miley Cyrus, it looks like his romance with another Disney princess has fallen by the wayside. When queried about their romantic status by E!’s Ted Casablanca at this weekend’s Carousel of Hope gala in Beverly Hills, all three Jonas Brothers answered “single.” Nick’s recent main squeeze Selena Gomez was conspicuously absent from the event after being confirmed to attend. Is Selena at home nursing a broken heart? Only time will tell.
Disney Tells Us What Kids Will Make Us Buy Them For Christmas

Just as we think we can’t get more broke and in debt, those money-grubbing folks at Disney release their list of “Most Wanted” toys—all that junk that will cause our kids to hate us forever if we don’t max out our credit cards to buy the stuff for them. Leading the list for ‘tweens are the “Hannah Montana Holiday Doll,” (pictured above) which sings “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” for only $34.99. Also aimed at that demo are the “High School Musical 3: Senior Year Singing Dolls” of Gabriella, Troy and Sharpay which play songs from the film and let the kids sing along for $26.99 each. Of course, a real HSM fan won’t settle for less than all three. For the kid who really has you under his/her thumb, there are the “Disney Mix Line of Digital Media Players” available in “fun styles from Disney properties including Jonas Brothers, High School Musical 3: Senior Year and Hannah Montana.” These iPods for kiddies are $69.99 and $99.99. Don’t think you’ll get off is your kids have outgrown Hannah and her little friends. For older kids, there’s the “Ultimate WALL•E” robot for $249.99. Start making your plans to rob that bank now.
