Julianne Moore Compares Plastic Surgery To Foot-Binding

Julianne Moore has always been outspoken about her intentions to grow old gracefully but recently she compared plastic surgery to the disfiguring Chinese practice of shrinking women’s feet. In the December issue of England’s Tatler, she stated:
“The analogy I use is ancient Chinese feet-binding. At what point did they decide that small feet were more beautiful? People started making them smaller and smaller until they were stumps and not beautiful at all. I feel we have decided that being expressionless and young-looking is the most beautiful thing.”
Julianne should have a serious talk with Nicole Kidman.

Julianne Moore Shops For Spring

Julianne Moore was out today getting her wardrobe together for spring. We caught up with her shopping at an adorable little hidden boutique in Soho. Here in New York we are finally getting some decent weather and Ms. Moore took advantage of every minute of it, with her cute cigarette jeans and flats. Kudos on your trendy West Village style Julianne, and we hope your new digs will help you make the best dressed list for this up and coming fashion season.

Moore Would Like More Moisture

Didn’t I tell you New Yorkers freakin’ need lots and lots of moisturizer during wintertime? We saw what the dry cold air did to Cameron Diaz’s beautiful face a couple of days ago and now Julianne Moore’s getting the brunt of it. Here we have her and hubby Bart Freundlich walking around their West Village neighborhood last night. She looks either really cold or really tired, or just both. Maybe she ate turkey for dinner and the effects took its toll during their walk home. Bart’s lucky because he has that huge patch of hair called a beard to keep his face all nuzzled up and warm. If Julianne grew a beard, she’d be warm, too. She’d also be working with Barnum and Bailey and not Warner Brothers, but you get my drift. Well, I hope you’re warm and cozy tonight, Julianne. Next time just a bring a huge scarf and roll it around your head. That’s what I would do.
