Hunky model Justin Gaston may have been kicked to the curb by teen queen Miley Cyrus, but he’s getting another chance at fame with the online reality series “If I Can Dream.” Conceived by “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller, the series will air on Hulu and follows five would-be stars as they try to make it in Hollywood.

The five—Gaston, Amanda Phillips, Benjamin Elliot, Giglianne Braga and Kara Kilmore—will move into a home in the hills where they will be monitored 24/7. Fans will be able to send messages to the contestants by Twitter or Facebook. After a couple of weeks, the public will be so bored with these acts that their careers will be over before they get started.

Teenage girls are fickle. When you’re the richest and most famous teen in America, you can afford to be really fickle—so it’s not that surprising that the romance of Miley Cyrus and hunky model Justin Gaston may be over.

A source had told US magazine that the pair “said their goodbyes last night,” before Miley headed off to Savannah, GA, for the filming of “The Last Song.” A few days ago, the Disney star Twittered, “‘my heart is in two… and its all because of you.’ a song i am starting to write ” Today she added, “why does saying good-bye hurt so much?”

Justin isn’t sounding too happy, either. Earlier today, he posted to his own Twitter, “How many tears are in* there? They’ve gotta run out soon right?”

At least they’re both young, and they’ll find someone new. Or maybe absence will make their hearts grow fonder, and they’ll wind up back together. As I said, teens are fickle.

Miley Cyrus wants Justin Gaston to know he’s still her number one man.

After reports that Miley was dropping the hunky model to get back with former BF Nick Jonas, the “Hannah Montana” star refuted the talk this weekend. According to People, Miley called it a “stupidddd rumor,” and added “It makes me sad to think that people out there aren’t friends with THEIR ex bf, because let me tell u it IS possible.”

Miley had nice words for both of the men in her life, , saying. “Justin and Nick are two very amazing people and they both mean so much to me. I love both of them so much, and they are both very dear to my heart. Justin is an amazing person! He can always make me laugh and has a heart of gold. 

“Nick is so lovely. He reaches out to so many people with his music, not only with his talent but with his heart. Our love for music is something that keeps our friendship together and I KNOW NO MATTER [what] he will be my friend forever.”

Stay tuned for the next episode of this teen soap opera, which could get a lot more interesting than any plot on “Hannah Montana.”

Hunky model Justin Gaston looks like the kind of guy a girl could fall in love with pretty easily, but things didn’t happen that fast for his GF Miley Cyrus.

The Disney star told Teen Vogue, “I believe in love at first sight. It just hasn’t happened to me.” She explained, the first time she laid eyes on Justin, “I walked right by him. Love doesn’t come from attraction, but from somewhere deeper. [Justin] is my best friend.”

That’s a good thing, since friendship is about all these two are supposed to have for another two years.

Miley Cyrus has scored her first grown-up magazine cover. The teen queen graces the cover of the May issue of Glamour, and in her interview, she sounds more mature than some of the adults who constantly slag her.

On boyfriend Justin Gaston: ”I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong, and I’m ready for people to accept it. My fans already accept it—they just want me to be happy. And I haven’t been that happy in a few years…working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I’m finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work. So honestly, I don’t feel like there’s anything to hide. And I love him so much I don’t really care.”

On the perils of Hollywood: “I think that’s what’s messed up so many people. I feel like the rules are the rules, you know? If you’re not 21, you don’t get into a bar. You don’t go to clubs. In this business you see so many people who are told yes all the time, and if someone says no, they get all upset. They look to their publicist, manager or agent for approval, rather than their parents.”

On Hollywood’s size-zero body obsession: “I think it’s lame, because it will eat at you forever. I’ve been at photo shoots where I’ve tried something on and said, “Oh my gosh, why don’t these fit?” But I’ll never be a six-foot-tall, 95-pound model; I’m meant to have a little more meat on my bones. One thing that bugs me is people who say, “Miley really needs to lose some weight,” or, “She got her boobs done.” I did start out really skinny, but you’re not going to have boobs when you’re 12 years old. I’m like, what are you talking about—let me grow!”

Yeah, Hollywood—let the girl grow.

I know some people are getting all scandalized that almost-sweet-sixteen superstar Miley Cyrus is being seen with a dirty old man of (gasp!) 20. Hunky model Justin Gaston stutted his stuff on the runway at the Christian Audigier American Lord fashion show last night during L.A.’s Fashion Week. Miley was smiling from the front row like a good girlfriend (and sticking out her tongue like a teenager.) Sure Justin’s quite the hottie but I wouldn’t be planning that bridal shower yet for these two. Especially since a teenage girl has the attention span of a puppy and guys who look like Justin go through girlfriends faster than he can change the undies he models. Justin’s gotten his most prominent, shall we say, exposure, posing in designer skivvies but hey, we all gotta pay the rent somehow. The two or three of us who watched NBC’s ill-fated “Nashville Star” TV series back in the summer may remember that Justin hails from Pineville, LA, and moved to Hollywood at 17 to pursue a singing career. Three years later, he doesn’t seem to be having much luck at that, being one of the first contestants voted off NS. (Apparently, the ladies in the audience enjoyed looking at him but weren’t that crazy about hearing his sing.) But being on the NBC series did give Gaston the chance to strike up a friendship with NS host Billy Ray Cyrus, who introduced the Louisiana lad to his family. Including his superstar daughter. So now the sexy southern stud is getting the kind of “exposure” that might get him signed to a recording contract, especially since these days Nashville is obviously signing acts for how hot they look in videos, not whether they actually have talent. Which is the only explanation for Jessica Simpson and Julianne Hough being passed off as “country.” So what’s in it for the much-more-famous half of this “couple?” Miley gets to be seen around town with a dreamboat who turns all the other girls’ heads and makes the guys jealous. Take that, Nick Jonas!
