When they were together, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were the ultimate cute couple. Doesn’t this photo from their happier days make you go “Awwww?” But the pair split last year and it seemed to be over.
Until Drew and Justin began showing up together recently, including a trip to L.A.’s Farmers market this weekend. Now Variety reports that the two will be spending more time together—co-starring in New Line’s romantic comedy “Going the Distance.” The film centers on a young couple dealing with the perils of a long distance relationship.
Will working together every day for months rekindle their romance? Only time will tell. But can you blame us for hoping?

Justin’s A Happy Camper

Our photogs spotted a very happy Justin Long hanging out at the Larchmont Village in Los Angeles, CA a couple of days ago. Justin was hanging with his peeps, so he was all extra smiles. After his breakup with Drew Barrymore, Justin probably went right into the arms of his friends (or is that a new lady love he’s hugging every so tightly?). I really loved Justin and Drew together, but I guess some things just don’t work out. He’s currently being linked to Kirsten Dunst, whom the press said he hung out with just days after breaking it off with Drew. And no, that’s not Kirsten he’s hugging on the picture, but they were spotted hanging out at the Sunset Junction festival here in Hollywood just this weekend (source). This is really sad news because I thought this was the one for Drew. Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have split up, her rep confirmed to People Magazine. The couple were first spotted together last August and have been very open about their relationship. Drew even spent Thanksgiving with his family last year. The ex-couple also completed a movie together, He’s Just Not That Into You (with Jen Aniston), which will be released next year. I’m really hoping these two get back together. They made an adorable couple and hopefully they work things out.

Drew Involved In Hit And Run?

Super cute celeb couple Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted at Hugo’s restaurant in West Hollywood yesterday. I just read a report about Drew being involved in a hit and run accident. Huffingtonpost.com is reporting that Drew’s car was rear-ended yesterday in West Hollywood (maybe after going to Hugo’s?). Instead of staying put, the other driver fled and Drew followed suit. She got the license plate number of the other vehicle and turned it over to the Sheriff’s Department. No arrests have been made as of today. The police don’t recommend following hit-and-run drivers, but they do acknowledge that getting a license plate number assists in catching them. Let’s hope they find Drew’s hit-and-run driver soon.
