The Ugly Sniffles

You remember King Leonidas from ‘300′ dontcha? Well, here he is fighting off some raging sniffles on the set of The Ugly Truth which is shooting here in sunny and smoky Southern California. Everyone’s allergies seem to be acting up because of the raging Sierra Madre fire, which is coating So Cal with ash and smoke for miles in every direction. Or perhaps he’s just been standing too close to Katherine Heigl, who smokes like, well Katherine Heigl (that’s just how much she smokes, I can only compare her to herself). Anyway, here’s the IMDB synopsis of The Ugly Truth:
A romantically challenged morning show producer (Heigl) is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent (Butler) to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love. His clever ploys, however, lead to an unexpected result…
Sounds a bit like the Hugh Jackman, Ahsley Judd movie ‘Someone Like You…’ which I confess to having seen a couple times. But only to make a point of course. In that movie, Judd has an underwear scene where she performs a cheer from her high school days. So it makes me wonder what kind of underwear scene we’ll be seeing Katherine do in this flick. Our photogs spotted Katherine Heigl driving into the studio for work in Hollywood yesterday. The Greys Anatomy star was looking casual and relaxed. And, as always, she had a cigarette in her hand. I thought she was supposed to be quitting after her wedding, as I read in a story a while back, but I guess that didn’t pan out. I’m a smoker, so I know she’s loving and hating that cigarette at the same time. I just read another story recently about Katherine’s old crush on co-star and BFF T.R. Knight. I guess when they were filming the pilot for the show, she was feeling him. Needless to say, he didn’t feel the same way about her (or any other woman for that matter) and now they’re best of friends. Good times to all!
Newlyweds…..

Newlyweds Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelly were out celebrating their new found happiness as they had dinner at Mamma Mia last night. Nothing says lovin’ like Italian food. She was glowing and all smiles as usual, but Josh must have known that the cameras were going to be out because he beat Kat 10 to 1 on the style meter. The leather jacket is sweet! Katherine on the other hand; jeans, sweatshirt, messytail… man you are well on your way to looking like a Minnesota soccer mom (no offense to those who are from Minnesota). Where are the fashion police when you need them? No worries Kat, we love you, but you need a stylist.
Katherine Goes Red At The Oscars

Katherine Heigl definitely had reason to smile as she prepped to go to the Oscars last night. We found Kath at her Hollywood Hills home getting ready to take part in the biggest night in Hollywood. Katherine made the best dressed list in a lot of the morning TV shows I watched today. Folks were enamored with her red dress and old-school Hollywood glamour. She does look fabulous, I must say. She cleans up very well. Husband Josh Kelley did not attend the show with her as he is currently on tour. I’m sure she did just fine by herself.
T.R. And Katherine Hang Out

These two must have a blast at work. I bet they take smoke breaks together (okay, Katherine takes smoke breaks and T.R. just hangs out) and gossip like crazy. T.R. Knight visited Katherine Heigl yesterday at her new house in the Hollywood Hills. Katherine can always be seen with her mom, her man or T.R. Knight. The Grey’s Anatomy co-stars are probably happy about news that the writer’s strike could end as soon as tomorrow. I know they’ve been itching to get back to work and fans of the show have been scratching for a new episode! All in due time, my little kumquats.
