Moving Day For Katherine & Josh

Newlyweds Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley were busy this weekend as they moved into their new home in Los Angeles. The Greys Anatomy star and her musician husband didn’t seem to need a mover because members of their paparazzi entourage decided to lend a few helping hands. Check out the pics below - very neighborly of the photogs. I wonder if Josh and Katherine gave them tips. We’ve been posting tons of pics of Katherine shopping around Los Angeles for furniture, so now we can see where they’ll be going. It amuses me that these are two people who probably could use a mover the most, yet they went with the DIY method and rented a U-Haul to do all the moving themselves. You’ve gotta’ give ‘em props for that, or at least a questionable look. That big new house probably needed more than a U-Haul and a celebrity couple to fill it up with furnishings, but hey, if they wanted to move everything themselves, then have at it. Alas, I do have more pics of the couple teaming up with the paps on their moving day. Check them out.
Katherine’s Still At It

I love Katherine Heigl and her gumption. Seriously, she is a little road runner when it comes to shopping for her new home. Here she is again with her mom at Between The Sheets in Beverly Hills, shopping for what else but bedding. Katherine’s not going to let someone else decorate her house - she’s doing it all by herself. She wakes up everyday with a goal and I guess the goal for this day was to make sure her bed’s comfy. She doesn’t need some interior decorator telling her what color her curtains should be, or what type of comforter set she should purchase. Oh no! Katherine can do it all by herself. And since the writers are still striking, she has some respite from filming Greys Anatomy, so homechick’s keeping busy. Good times to her and better times for all the shops she visits. Way to support the local economy, Kath! Keep it up.
Another Nice Meal With Ma

Katherine Heigl really loves her mama and she really loves lunch. Okay, most of us really need to eat lunch, but she does it in such a stylish way. Here she is with her mom and some friends dining at Le Petit Four at the Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood. One of these days I’ll do a post naming the restaurants Katherine goes to regularly and for those who are planning a visit to Los Angeles, you can have a Katherine Heigl Eatery day. Yes, I’m sure that will be a very popular tourist attraction. But I’ll still do it for y’all. Katherine is currently taking a break from Greys Anatomy because of the writers strike, so she’s had a lot of time to just chill out, shop for furniture and fix up her new home. Plus, she’s a newlywed, so I’m sure her nighttime is reserved for Josh. I have more pictures of her enjoying a nice meal with her ma right after this. If you’re a Katherine Heigl fan, I’d get right to them.
Is Baby Furniture Shopping Next?

Okay, it’s not Katherine Heigl and Kate Walsh who are having a little shopping contest. It’s Katherine and Lindsay Lohan. Granted, Lindsay’s been shopping at Blockbuster and Bristol Farms and Katherine at furniture shops, but you get me. Okay, I don’t even get me. In any case, here we have Katherine and hubby Josh Kelley not shopping. Instead, the two were spotted chatting it up with a new neighbor and her baby at their new home. Ah, getting to know thy neighbors. Wonderful idea! I like how completely disengaged Josh looks in some of the photos. Maybe the baby got him a little rattled. Katherine, meanwhile, looks like she’s enjoying chatting with the new mom. That doesn’t mean she wants a baby soon, though. The couple just got married. We should let them enjoy each other for a couple of years first. Get all the new furniture you guys bought in there and christen those rooms, Heigl and Kelley! Get to it!
More Couch Shopping For Katherine

I love how committed Katherine Heigl is. Our photogs caught up with her a couple of days ago shopping for furniture in Pasadena and she’s at it again. She must be in some type of competition with Kate Walsh for who can redecorate their living rooms first or something. She decided to head over to Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood this time, though, and not empty handed. She probably learned after seeing pics of Kate and her husband on our website and noticed that they had that cheater’s decorating book for the hip Hollywood homes. Competitive Katherine dug up the binder she’s been building since she was in the 5th grade and brought it with her. What a trooper! And mind you, it was a rainy day in Southern Cali yesterday, so Katherine probably had an early start and just missed out on the downpour. Oh, and you also get to see a couple of great views of her beautiful wedding ring in a couple of the photos. But my favorite picture’s gotta’ be her enjoying a post-shopping cigarette next to her Range Rover. I love that this woman still smokes. A lady after my own heart. Well, I hope you found the right sectional and coffee table, Kath! I’m sure we’ll see you in Santa Monica sometime this week going at it again.
