Going Out Without Brit

I’m sure Britney needs some time to herself, so she cherishes it when her parents are out of her hair. Our photog spotted Jamie doing a little grocery shopping at Ralph’s this weekend and Lynne enjoying a solo Starbucks run. I guess we know where Brit gets her favorite spots from. Britney’s been doing very well since Jamie’s taken over her affairs. I’m sure it’s made the father and daughter much closer, too. Aww, sweet. Just in time for Father’s Day next month. So, while Brit’s working out at Bally’s, this is what her parents do on their spare time.
Mama’s Trip To The Doc

Britney’s mama, Lynne Spears, was spotted yesterday as she arrived at a Beverly Hills medical office. Lynne wasn’t with Brit, but she has visited her grandsons while she’s here in Los Angeles. Lynne’s going back and forth between L.A. and Kentwood, LA, where preggy Jamie Lynn is staying. She has been working with ex husband Jamie on helping Britney get back on her feet. She should be happy with the progress from the last few weeks. Brit’s been doing pretty well and just had a dinner meeting with Mel Gibson last night. Things are looking up in the Spears clan these days.
Millenium Loves Brit

I’m sure Millenium Dance Studio in North Hollywood loves them some Britney Spears. Then again, they’re probably not too fond of all the crowds swarming their property. In any case, Brit came by the dance studio again today with her mama, Lynne. She also brought her cd, Blackout, to dance along to. So she’s practicing dance moves with her own music. That’s definitely a good sign for Brit. She will be all prepared to do a show sometime soon. I have more pictures for all your Britney fans below. Eat ‘em up!
Britney Does Some Retail Therapy

There are many kinds of therapy - mental therapy, massage therapy, chocolate cupcake therapy, and so on and so forth. Britney decided to take part in a little bit of retail therapy today, because nothing makes a girl feel better than a new pair of whatever it is that grabs her eye. And with all the commotion in her life, Brit definitely deserved to get at least two pairs of something or other. Hanging out with mama Spears and some new bodyguards, Britney visited Miss Sixty on Melrose Avenue today. It’s good to see Brit doing her normal stuff - going to dance classes, shopping, etc. - without all the craziness involved. Maybe it was her last hospitalization, or her parents being in the picture again, that’s keeping her in good behavior. Whatever it is, it’s working right now and it’s a good sign for her fans. The Battle Continues

I have never seen an actual restraining order but have always assumed it’s a piece of paper (colored yellow, don’t ask me why) signed by a judge. When I heard about the eleven page restraining order Brit’s parents filed against Sam Lutfi, I was a bit shocked. Eleven pages? Really? Well, it is a very detailed one. Sam has to stay 250 yards away from Britney, her homes, her children’s homes, the hospital she’s in, etc. The restraining order also details the complaints Jamie and Lynne Spears have regarding Sam. It stated that Sam moved into Brit’s home last October, cut off her home phone lines, and has tried to control her finances and career. It also states that he drugged Britney. It basically paints Sam as an abusive and destructive leech, but in better written sentences. The hearing regarding the restraining order is set for February 22. I guess that’s when Sam gets his day in court. With all this drama going on in the “outside” world, Brit should definitely just stay where she is.
