J.Lo Calls Obama “The Biggest Star”

Jennifer Lopez seems to have a crush on our new Commander-in-Chief. At last night’s Latino Inaugural Gala in Washington, D.C., Lopez gushed to People over President-elect Obama’s star power.
”He is the biggest star here, even though it’s chock-full of celebrities. The night he won the election, you could feel it in the air. I was … watching him with tears in my eyes, thinking, ‘Yes. Something is different. Something is happening.’ We’re very excited.”
Maybe she’ll be excited enough to actually get involved in the next election since neither she nor husband Marc Anthony did a thing for Obama in the last one.

Are Madonna And Guy A Done Deal?

The Madonna/Guy Richie divorce could be shorter and sweeter than expected. The BBC is reporting that according to court lists, the couple will be granted a preliminary divorce degree at the High Court in London on Friday, and the divorce would be final after six weeks and a day. The couple has reportedly reached an agreement on money (she keeps all of hers) and the kids (Rocco and David split time between parents, Lourdes lives with mom). That means Madonna could be a free woman right after the dawn on 2009. Happy New Year, Alex!
