Madonna Buries Her Troubles In Work

The almost-finally divorced Madonna is throwing herself into her work to take her mind off her failed marriage. She told the Associated Press:
“I’m sad about my personal life, but I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life…It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do.”
As long as A-Rod is around, I kinda doubt she’ll have “nothing to do.”

Madonna was granted a preliminary divorce decree today in London, ending her eight-year marriage to Guy Richie. She was seen celebrating her status as a free woman by having drinks at NYC’s Greenwich Hotel with first ex-husband Sean Penn. Earlier Madonna had attended a Gucci event with another blast from her past, manager Guy Oseary. No public spottings with A-Rod—yet.
Madonna Gets Big Bucks For Modeling Gig

Page Six reports that Madonna will be getting a cool $10 million to pose for a Louis Vuitton marketing campaign. The singer was spotted over the weekend with LV designer Marc Jacobs at the Chateau Marmont, discussing couture, no doubt. The layout will be shot by Madonna’s old friend Steven Meisel, who shot her 1992 book “Sex.” Wonder how much of that cash will go to pay off Guy Richie?

While her boys hang out with dad in London, Madonna is gushing like a schoolgirl over new love Alex Rodriguez. Sources quote Madonna as saying the NY Yankee “has the heart of a poet trapped inside an insanely gorgeous body.” A-Rod better hope his teammates don’t hear about that or they’ll never let him live it down.
Madonna Hands Down Rules To Guy

Madonna allowed their two boys Rocco and David to visit dad Guy Richie in London but not without a laundry list of what they could and could not do. The kids may not read newspapers or magazines, watch TV or DVDs, and may not meet any of Guy’s new friends—especially female ones. They must eat only macrobiotic food, drink only Kaballah water and wear only natural fibers. The kids aren’t supposed to be photographed during the visit but I’m hoping for a shot of them sitting in McDonald’s, reading People and drinking Pepsi.
