Magazine Covers: Jen On Star & OK!

Take your pick, party people. Both Star and OK! magazines are featuring Jennifer Aniston on the cover of their current issues. OK! is claiming that Jen is ready to wed boyfriend John Mayer. Does John Mayer know about this? Anyway, a “source” close to the actress had this to say: “She’s at an age where she is thinking with her head not just her heart. No way would she still be with anyone if marriage wasn’t a real option.” Meanwhile, Star magazine is claiming that Jennifer is ready to have a kid with John. Again, another “source” close to the actress told Star: “Jen feels so strongly that John is ‘the one.’ She knows he can handle being a dad.” You know these magazine covers are going to scare poor John Mayer away and he’s going to end up dumping Jenny. Okay, let’s hope that doesn’t happen. And as much as I’d love to see a Jennifer Aniston wedding/baby with John Mayer, it’s very doubtful that it’s going to happen anytime soon (if at all with John-John’s record with the females). Seriously, who knew Tyra Banks would be a mini TV mogul. I don’t think anyone guessed it, but we won’t hate. Love her or hate her, the girl’s getting it done. And she’s really getting it done on the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. In this issue, Tyra pays homage to Michelle Obama. Clad in a slinky black shift dress and pearls, she poses next to a Barack Obama look-a-like in the White House in one of the photos. She also talked about the possible future first lady. “With Barack Obama, his becoming president is them becoming president because Michelle was there from the beginning,” Tyra told Harper’s. “Without Michelle, he wouldn’t be there.” I’m sure there are even more Tyra-isms in the September issue, so go grab a copy at your local newsstands on August 19, if you’re so inclined.
Say Hello To The Twins

For those who are very interested in seeing what Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins look like, you’re in luck. People Magazine’s new issue boasts a 19-page family album, complete with pics of Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, as well as the other kids, of course. The babies were delivered by Caesarean section on July 12 at the Lenval hospital in Nice, with the whole world watching. The celebrity couple invited cameras into their French chateau in an exclusive photo deal worth a reported $14 million for charity. The new issue is in newsstands now, if you’re so inclined.

Yeehawwww! Jessica Simpson is on the cover of Elle Magazine’s September issue and she’s looking cowgirl-icious. Jess, of course, is paying homage to her down-home side, as she makes way to re-start her music career in the country genre. In the magazine, she promotes her new album, Do You Know, and she talks about love - losing it, getting it and how much she loves it. On her year-long romance with John Mayer: “John believed in the Jessica Simpson that’s within,” she tells the magazine. “He cherished our love. He helped make me the woman I am today. John is going to be an amazing man for someone, but I know that I was supposed to be with someone else.” And Jessica on her new love, Dallas quarterback Tony Romo: “Tony understands me. He appreciates my talent. He’s the first person I’ve spiritually connected with. I’m a girl that loves to be in love,” she says. “I love love!” And we love that you love love, Jess. Shia Cleared On Crash

Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has been cleared of any wrongdoing for the early-morning car crash he was involved in on Sunday, reports the Associated Press. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said that detectives have found that the other driver involved ran a red light and will be charged. Shia was with his Transformers co-star Isabel Lucas, who was not injured in the crash. He was arrested for misdemeanor DUI Sunday morning and is currently recovering from an extensive hand surgery. He should be back filming the sequel in about a month. Shia graces Details Magazine’s September cover and he opened up about his drinking issues. “I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman,” he commented. “I don’t know how to have one drink.” Well, let’s hope Sunday’s mayhem will shed a little light on Shia and that he’ll get the help he needs.
