No Visitation Rights For Brit?
Friday, January 11th, 2008
Ah, the bad news just keeps coming for Britney Spears. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline’s lawyer, just announced today that he will be asking the courts on Monday for Britney’s visitation rights be completely cut off until April. After the January 3 mayhem that ensued at her house, Kevin is very worried about the safety of the kids. It’s reported that when police came to the house to resolve the custody rights issue with Britney, they noticed that Jayden Jaymes (who is 16 months old) had a few bruises and a bite mark on his body. Goodness, how the hell did he get those? I’m glad the boys are safe at home with their daddy. It’s likely that this request might be granted on Monday just from what Britney’s actions have been since she left the hospital. I’ll keep you all posted, as always.
Britney’s 13 Minutes Of Hell
Thursday, January 3rd, 2008
It seems like this girl does nothing normal. Britney was late as usual, arriving at 11:20 a.m., almost two-hours late! Britney arrived at K-Fed’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan’s office with her assistant Carla and the proceedings lasted about 13 minutes, ending at the scheduled time of 11:45 a.m. Kaplan later gave a statement to reporters saying that another deposition has been scheduled and he hasn’t decided to seek sanctions against Britney and her as yet unexcused lawyers, Trope & Trope, for her tardiness. Well, at least she showed up this time but odds are she’ll only be one-hour late next time.
Brit’s Lawyers Jump Ship
Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008
We called this over two weeks ago but honestly it really wasn’t that hard to call. TMZ is reporting that Britney’s team of lawyers, the offices of Trope & Trope, have filed papers withdrawing themselves as Britney’s legal representation in her custody case. Britney sure made Trope & Trope’s decision pretty easy as Kevin’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan did threaten some sort of relief from Britney’s no-show, and any fines and penalities would fall on them. Good luck Britney, we only wish the best for you!
Mark Vincent Kaplan: Not A Happy Camper
Wednesday, December 12th, 2007
Kevin Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan will be seeking some sort of relief from the Court in response to Britney’s no-show to her court ordered deposition that was to take place at Kaplan’s office today. Britney is backing herself in a corner with her own lawyers as the courts will levy fines and penalties on them. If Brit keeps this up, she is running the risk of having her lawyers bailing out on her too.

Breaking: Britney’s A No Show
Wednesday, December 12th, 2007
Citing medical reasons, Britney Spears did not show up to her scheduled deposition that was to be held at 10:00 am this morning at Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan’s office. Kaplan spoke to reporters about Britney’s no-show, saying that Britney has had some sort of medical condition or illness that has prevented her from making her statement. Kaplan also refused to say when the deposition will be re-scheduled. Now, I’m not an attorney, but I think it’s safe to say this is not good for Britney. Kaplan’s pissed and Kevin’s not going to let this go. Check back soon for pictures and video from the scene.
