New Friends For Matthew?
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Former “Friends” star Matthew Perry is shooting a pilot for a new series to air on the cable network Showtime. In the dark comedy “The End of Steve,” plays a local talk show host with an enormous ego. Martha Plimpton will play his show’s producer and Kiele Sanchez his attractive co-host. Hey, it can’t be any worse than “Joey.”

On Location: ‘Seventeen’ Continues Filming
Wednesday, January 16th, 2008
Filming resumed for Seventeen yesterday, even though one of its main stars, Zac Efron, was rushed to the hospital. Zac had to undergo an emergency operation to remove his appendix. He had the operation at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Matthew Perry was on the set yesterday shooting a scene involving a very yellow and yummy Lamborghini. They ended up using a body double for Zac in the scene and if you look closely at the pics below, the dude really does look a bit like Zac. I guess that’s why he was hired, eh? He also kind of looks like Prince Harry, but whatever. Matthew is showing his age a bit, but it’s good to see him healthy. He went through some substance abuse issues a few years back, so seeing him not so skinny is a good sign. I have more pics of Matthew and the Lambo below, so get to them.

Exclusive: Matthew Perry On The Set Of ‘Seventeen’
Wednesday, December 12th, 2007
Chandler Bing, is that you? Okay, that will be the only ‘Friends’ joke I will make on this post, I promise. But we did catch up with Matthew Perry at the set of his new movie, Seventeen. The movie also stars Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg, and it has drawn comparisons to the Tom Hanks classic Big. Here’s the gist: Matthew Perry plays a father who suddenly wakes up one day to find that he’s seventeen again. In order to get closer to his kids, he enrolls in the same school they attend. Zac plays the young version of Matthew and the adventures begin. If marketed correctly, this could be a big surprise hit just like Big was in the late ’80s. And despite the fact that everyone will always think of Chandler Bing when we see Matthew Perry, he is actually a very funny actor. Hopefully they can capture a bit more of that in this movie. Seventeen is set to release in 2009, but you can check out more pictures of Matthew Perry on the set below.
