Lindsay’s Mad At Dad

Lindsay Lohan is waging war against her sleazy dad after he released one of their private phone conversations to the public. RadarOnline reports Lindsay’s attorney Shawn Chapman Holley id pursuing legal action against Michael Lohan. Holley stated she is “exploring all options both civilly, and criminally. We are talking to legal authorities in New York and Los Angeles to determine if any laws were broken. This was a private phone conversation, and if this conversation took place in California then it was a violation of the law.”
Lindsay herself took to her Twitter to diss Daddy, saying “My fathers such a loser & those recordings are from years ago. To release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them. I used to think that he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha-he’s needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN.” While Linds is hardly a model of mental stability, having a father who uses you to get his name in the press has to hurt.

Lindsay Wants Dad To Stay Away

Maybe papa shouldn’t preach. After a barrage of statements about her alleged drug use by dad Michael, Lindsay Lohan is taking steps to hit him with a restraining order.
According to RadarOnline, the troubled actress is afraid Michael will take action on his statements about kidnapping his daughter and seeking a conservatorship over her affairs. Michael Lohan has been chattier than usual is recent days, suggesting an intervention for Lindsay and stating that she should have been sentenced to rehab instead of being given another year of probation to complete a drug and alcohol program.
When contacted about the possible restraining order, Michael Lohan gave this statement to RadarOnline: “Dina is the one that told her to get a restraining order. But you know what? I‘m still going to try to do everything with the courts to try and get Lindsay better.” Maybe he could help his daughter get better by keeping her business out of the press and contacting her privately. But that wouldn’t get him the attention he wants, would it?

Family Intervention For Lindsay?

Lindsay Lohan’s estranged dad Michael grabbed headlines with his claim that the actress is addicted to prescription drugs. Now he’s trying to rally the family to stage an intervention.
Michael Lohan told RadarOnline.com, “I had a conversation with her, her mother and everyone…over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be doing things in a pretty public way. But Dina has got to get on the same page with me. It’s a serious situation. You can’t just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing.”
Did he really expect the ex-wife who hates him and also needs Linds as her meal ticket to be a lot of help? And where does Samantha Ronson fit into his plans? Given Daddy Lohan’s animosity toward his daughter’s lover in the past, he’s not likely to get any help there, either.
Is this a father’s honest attempt to save his child’s life, or just another of Michael Lohan’s publicity stunts? He insists, “When Lindsay doesn’t adhere or listen to what I say about serious situations, I feel I have to speak publicly to put pressure on her,” he said. “If she doesn’t take my advice and do what I say…the more pressure I put on her, the more likely she is to eventually do the right thing.” Yeah, that’s really worked in the past, hasn’t it?

Michael Lohan Finally Becomes A Dad

So after many many rants to the media about Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson’s relationship, Michael Lohan has brilliantly come to the conclusion that private matters should be kept private. You would think he would’ve figured this out a while ago considering the more he said the less likely Lindsay was to speaking to him. Either way, he came out and said this:
“In the past, I felt that the best way to get to her was to speak out publicly, and it was the wrong choice.” About the horrible things he’s said in the past about Sam, Michael says, “I definitely regret all the things I said about Samantha. I’m a Christian, I should not pass judgment on anyone.”
Let’s see if they can start building that relationship again, every girl needs her dad, even if he’s a little famewhore.

Cease Fire: Lindsay vs. Dad

Sad new for Lindsay Lohan and her father Michael Lohan today. Michael’s father, Lindsay’s grandfather, passed away from colon cancer. The only bright side out of this otherwise dark day for the family is that Lindsay has asked for a truce with her father in their recent media dual. If you haven’t been following, Michael went to task calling Lindsay’s girlfriend Samantha an addictive drug and a bad influence. Lind’s fired back telling her dad to back the hell up and it escalated with Michael’s signing on for a one hour tell all television show. Now that show’s future is uncertain with the olive branch being extended by Lindsay. Either way, it’s good for business, but sadly not so good for Lindsay’s career.
