Free At Last, Free At Last…

I was so ready to go into the famous Martin Luther King, Jr. speech, and then I realized how inappropriate that would be. And so we go on with the news that Michelle Rodriguez has been released from the Lynwood Correctional Facility. Michelle was sentenced to 180 days after she violated her probation, which stemmed from a DUI arrest. She’s so silly - she was wearing an alcohol monitoring anklet and homechick drank liquor three times. Funny girl. At any rate, Michelle entered the facility on December 23 and she only served 17 days of the 180 originally sentenced. Well, hip hip hooray for her. With overcrowding and such, the first folks to go are usually the celebrities. Hello, Lindsay only spent 4 minutes at Lynwood, I believe. Anyway, Michelle honey, please stop drinking and driving. It’s so beneath you and you’re much better than that. And unlike my Tori Amos mistake - you know, when I told y’all she was a lesbian - I’m pretty sure Michelle enjoys being in the family. And there you go.

This is Michelle Rodriguez’s new home for the next 180 days. If the place looks familiar, it’s because you’ve probably seen it before. It is the Lynwood Correctional facility, previously home to Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Although Lindsay only spent a short time there, Michelle will not be so lucky as the judge has ordered her to serve a full 180 day sentence for probation violation. Michelle consumed alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol monitoring device and failed to complete her court ordered community service. Michelle turned herself into the facility Sunday where the booking photo below was taken. Doesn’t it look like this girl’s got the biggest chip on her shoulders? I’d wish you luck Michelle, but I don’t think you’re going to need it. We still wish you a Merry Christmas, though. Don’t worry, next year should be a better one for ya!
