Miley’s Riding High

Miley Cyrus is riding high these days. She had the number one album in the charts last week (country act Sugarland got the top spot this week). She just finished filming yet another money-making Hannah Montana flick. And she was just named the top tween moneymaker by Forbes.com. How do you like them apples? Here’s Miley enjoying some bike riding time with her buddies yesterday in Toluca Lake. It’s nice to see Miley taking some time off just being a kid, since everyone, including Sharon Osbourne, has something to say about the tween star. Ozzy’s wife recently told Showbiz Spy: “I would tell youngsters like Miley to just be a kid. It is ridiculous. She is 15 years old. Let her be a kid. She does not need the hype. She is very talented but she does not need the pressure of being compared to Madonna. Just let her be a kid.” Well, I’m sure Billy Ray and Tish will take that into consideration, Sharon. FNMTV Fun With Pink & Miley

Ashlee Simpson wasn’t the only one keeping Pete Wentz company during their FNMTV shoot on Friday. Pink and Miley Cyrus came by for guest appearances and the two looked absolutely fabulous. Pink, as we all know, is sort of newly single, having separated from hubby Carey Hart just six months ago. Carey recently opened up to People and stated that he’s not crossing Pink and him getting back together off the list. “I would like to have wishful thinking and say, ‘Yes.’ Only time will tell,” he commented about a possible reunion. Meanwhile, on the Miley front…the Hannah Montana star won big at the Teen Choice Awards held this weekend in Hollywood (and will be broadcast tonight on FOX). Miley won three surfboards, including one as Choice TV Actress for a comedy and another as Choice Music Female Artist. Good times to all. Achy Breaky Heart

Who knew the guy who sang “Achy Breaky Heart” would be fathering the biggest Disney star in the world? Our photogs spotted Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, posing on his hog for the photogs. Yeah, I tried to make that rhyme, but it just sounds funny. Billy Ray was riding around on his motorcycle in Toluca Lake yesterday. Billy Ray is co-starring in the upcoming Hannah Montana movie, but he also has other movies in the works. He just completed Flying By with Heather Locklear and he’s in a comedy with Bill Engvall called Bait Shop, which is coming out this September. Good times for Miley’s dad. This footage features Miley Cyrus getting ready to shoot a stage performance. You get to see how professional this little girl is and how much rapport she has with her co-stars and crew. Miley Enjoying The Ride

All work and no play makes a Disney teen queen a very dull girl, so Miley Cyrus made time for some fun yesterday in Santa Monica. Still filming Hannah Montana: The Movie at the Santa Monica Pier, Miley took advantage of the location and rode the roller coaster with her little sis, Noah. It’s nice to see Miley enjoying herself like any normal teenager, especially with the hectic work schedule she keeps. And there is something to be said for Miley’s always happy attitude. She’s always smiling and throwing peace signs at paps and seems to be enjoying her celebrity, instead of being stuck-up about it. Let’s hope she keeps her sunshiny outlook at least until her early 20s. By then she can party all she wants and take as many pictures of herself in the mirror.
