Paris Says She’s Not A Stupid Slut

Most of us don’t feel compelled to tell the world something like this, but apparently Paris Hilton does.
E!’s Marc Malkin reveals that the reality show star delivers some weighty pronouncements in “Paris,” a new documentary about her life which will premiere Tuesday on MTV. The heiress claims she invented the character “Paris Hilton,” but that dim bimbo isn’t who she really is. “In a way it’s good, but I also don’t want people thinking of me as this blond heiress…airhead. But that is kind of my brand. I make a lot of money by doing that.”
Of course, the downside of making all that cash is people “thinking I’m a slut and thinking I’m something that I’m not.” Don’t knock it, honey. If we didn’t buy your “image,” your 15 minutes would have been up years ago.

DJ AM To Intervene On MTV

DJ AM has cheated death and conquered his own drug demons. Now he’s ready to help others get their lives together.
The Hollywood Reporter says DJ, aka Adam Goldstein, will be joining MTV’s upcoming intervention-style reality show called “Gone Too Far.” The series will feature tough-love interventions for young people dealing with substance abuse. DJ AM, who has been sober for about ten years, will be present as an addiction specialist attempts to aid the abusers.
This could be interesting if DJ AM honestly tries to use his own experiences to relate to the people who have problems.

Britney Gets Top Moonman Nod

Things are getting rosier and rosier everyday for Britney Spears. The once-troubled singer’s anticipated comeback has been coming in slow stages, but every success has been well worth it for fans. And, there’s more good news to be had today for Britty-Brit. The “Toxic” singer just garnered her third MTV Video Music Awards nomination. Her “Piece of Me” video has been nominated for Video of the Year, MTV just announced. Britney is up against The Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, the Pussycat Dolls and The Ting Tings for the coveted top Moonman award. Brit’s also nominated for the Best Female and Best Pop Video categories. It’s still up in the air whether or not she’ll be performing during the awards show, but I know her fans are crossing their fingers. Congrats on the nomination, Brit!
