These Boots Are Made For Walking

Nicole Richie was rocking some hot boots yesterday when she went to traffic school in Van Nuys. Yes, more traffic school. And yes, the boots are definitely an acquired taste. You either love them or hate them. Nicole could definitely share closets with the Olsen twins. I forget which one is more into the bohemian chic look, but that’s exactly what Nicole’s style is. Nicole’s currently on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in their June issue. If you’d like to read more about Harlow and her relationship with Joel, the issue comes out May 20. Visiting The Doc

Our photogs caught up with sweethearts Nicole Richie and Joel Madden visiting a doctor’s office yesterday in Beverly Hills. Don’t ask me what’s in the big Fendi bag Joel’s carrying, because I have no idea what’s in there. Maybe it’s his version of the man-purse. Hey, other celebs have worn or carried weirder things. Wedding rumors are still swirling around the couple, but they keep denying it. The new mom will be celebrating her first Mother’s Day this weekend. If you haven’t bought anything for your favorite mamas, then you better get to it because Sunday is right around the corner. I’m sure Joel got Nicole something nice from his DCMA store. He probably gets a pretty decent discount there.
Learning To Love Traffic School

Why is Nicole Richie looking so happy entering traffic school today? Well, because she laced her coffee with some Bailey’s. Just kidding, of course. Hello, she just gave birth and you can’t have liquor when you’re breast feeding. Okay, that was TMI. Anyway, Nicole had a big smile today, which is quite a change from her normal stoic look. Maybe her bodyguard told her a really good joke. I wonder if they even talk to each other inside the car. Yes, I wondered that for a whole half a second today. And now I’m over it. Well, maybe Ms. Nicole is happy because this is her last day of traffic school. Sure hope so, Nic. With all the traffic school you’ve been taking, I’m sure you can probably apply to be a California Highway Patrol officer by now. And I’m sure she’ll have the right accessories for the uniforms.
Nicole & Joel Take Mom Shopping

Nicole Richie and her baby daddy Joel Madden met up with her mom at the Diane Von Furstenberg shop in West Hollywood yesterday for a little shopping and back patting. Of course, no trip to Melrose can go without a quick stop at the Madden Bros. DCMA shop. Check out Nicole’s mother Brenda Harvey-Richie below. I can’t say for sure what she’s drinking but still, classic.
Good Charlotte In Studio

After a month of touring abroad, the Good Charlotte boys are back in the studio. The duo, Joel and Benji Madden, arrived at a Studio City complex separately yesterday. Joel accompanied girlfriend Nicole Richie to traffic school earlier in the day so she, in turn, came along for the studio session. Benji arrived solo, which was surprising since he’s been joined at the hip with girlfriend Paris Hilton the last month or so. How can you tell the boys apart? Benji doesn’t have facial hair and he’s a bit bulkier. I’m sure you’ve always wanted to know that.
