Another Bedtime Story

Okay, so he doesn’t look like Brad Pitt on Troy, but Adam Sandler did his best today to channel his inner warrior. Or something like that. Yes, I have more pics from the set of Adam’s upcoming film, Bedtime Stories. This time around Adam seems to be filming one of the bedtime stories his character tells his niece and nephew in the movie. The film’s about a man whose stories start to magically come true. Yeah, I know you’re thinking cheese, but I guarantee that you’ll be taking your kids or younger sibs to see this movie come Christmas day. Anyway, just check out the other pics from the set below. On Location: The Soloist

Our great photogs got up close on the set of The Soloist, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jamie Foxx. The two stars were caught shooting and preparing for a few scenes yesterday, as they filmed on the streets of downtown Los Angeles. Jamie plays a musical genius who becomes homeless in L.A. and is befriended by a journalist (played by Robert). It looks like Jamie’s going for another Oscar with this role. Maybe that’s his specialty - playing musicians of some sort. He’s sure come a long way from playing Wanda on In Living Color (although that’s by far still my fave Jamie Foxx role). I do think he’s a better dramatic actor than comedian. At any rate, we have tons more pictures of these two true thespians filming in the city of angels for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.
Bateman And Crowe On Location

I have more pictures of Jason Bateman and Russell Crowe on location in Los Angeles for their upcoming movie, State of Play. Jason’s looking very dapper in these photos and Russell really knows how to make himself look dumpy, doesn’t he? I’m assuming that’s all for the movie. Jason is in another movie called Hancock with Will Smith, set to release sometime this year. Russell has a couple of movies coming out this year also, including Tenderness, where he plays a police officer or a detective. He seems to like playing detectives these days. American Gangster was a great movie, if you guys haven’t seen it. He plays a detective in that movie, too. Anyway, we have more pics from the set for your perusal below. Have at them.
On Location: The Soloist

This sounds like an Oscar contender right off the bat. Our photogs were at the set of The Soloist, starring Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. The movie is a true story about musical prodigy Nathaniel Ayers who developed schizophrenia in his second year at Juilliard. Ayers ends up homeless on the streets of downtown Los Angeles, where he plays his cello and violin. Steve Lopez, a Los Angeles Times columnist, writes about Ayers and the two strike up a friendship. Robert is playing Steve Lopez’s character and Jamie plays Nathaniel Ayers. I read on Variety.com that Jamie’s actually learning to play stringed instruments from a cellist with the L.A. Philharmonic for this movie. That’s called dedication to his role, ladies and gents. I’m glad to see Robert Downey Jr. looking healthy (albeit the fake blood all over his face) these days. He is definitely one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. We have tons more photos from the set, so please check them out.

This looks like it’s going to be a great movie. Our photogs were on location at Russell Crowe’s new movie, State of Play. The movie is about a slew of investigative reporters who are working with a police detective to solve the murder of a congressman’s mistress. We have photos of Russell and co-star Jason Bateman. I like that Jason had a comeback after leaving Hollywood for a while. He was a child actor, for those who didn’t know, and we all know that many child actors go into darker directions as they age. Anyway, Jason’s done a good job of picking great projects, so good times for him. He can also be seen currently in the surprise hit movie, Juno. Besides Russell and Jason, State boasts quite a cast, including Ben Affleck, Helen Mirren and Rachel McAdams. Cool beans. Go ahead and check out more pics of Russell and Jason on the set below.
