Petelee Getting Married This Weekend

Ah, wedding news all around today. Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married this weekend. Pete had a bachelor party at the Roosevelt Hotel with his bandmates and buddies, including Joel Madden. Ash’s dad was also present at the bachelor party. Interesting. Ashlee, meanwhile, had her own bachelorette party at Kiki De Montparnasse, a luxury lingerie and intimacy products store, according to People.com. Speaking of People, the magazine will reportedly pay $1 million for Ashlee’s wedding pics. Hmm, that should offset the cost of the wedding. Well, a big congrats to Pete and Ash. Let’s hope Jessica has a date for the wedding.
Marrying This Weekend?

There must be wedding fever in celeb-dom because Usmagazine.com is reporting that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz will be getting married this weekend. The publication has a source close to the couple reporting that the ceremony will be held at a secret location on Saturday. The alleged wedding rehearsal dinner, intended only for family and close friends, will be held on Friday, according to the source. I don’t know about this. It sounds a little fishy to me, but Us is standing by it. I have a feeling a (non) confirmation will be coming from the couple soon.

Who knew eyeliner could make one so violent? TMZ is reporting that Pete Wentz is getting sued for allegedly beating up a fan. Here’s the story. The Fall Out Boys were playing a show in Chicago at Schuba’s Tavern. Andy Kallas was one of the folks checking out the show. Andy claims that Pete and his peoples beat him for a few minutes while the boys were performing. He is now suing Pete and the club for the incident. The other side of the story is this - witnesses say that Andy was being obnoxious and heckled the band before the incident. Okay, if this really happened, then there must be someone who recorded this and they probably have it on YouTube by now. I can’t really see Pete as a puncher, but no one said emo boys don’t love ‘em a good fight now and then.

Pictures like this are funny. Not because it looks like we caught Pete Wentz picking his nose while pumping gas. Rather, they’re funny because I have to explain that Pete isn’t really picking his nose but actually starving for attention. You see, Pete’s knocked up Ashlee Simpson, another attention starved celeb who’s using her pregnancy to promote her new album and we all know she’s the daughter of one of the biggest pimps out there, Joe Simpson. Joe would sell out his daughters private lives for a buck… oh wait, he already did, didn’t he? Anyway, we’re big believers in karma here at JFX so we tend to ignore stories on celebs we can’t stand rather than hating on them, if possible. Can you believe that? An entertainment news outlet not pointing the spotlight on an attention starved celebrity? I wonder how soon we’d see Heidi and Spencer go away if the news outlets who hated them stopped putting up staged stories and pictures of them. Be that as it may, in the case of these nose picking pictures, I think I’m doing karma a favor here by posting them.
And I understand the irony of a scum bucket pap like myself believing in karma, which is why I teach Sunday school and attend Church twice a week. I’ve got to try and level the playing field some how.
Ashlee Dances With Stars

Ashlee Simpson was spotted on the set of Dancing with the Stars yesterday. The pop starlet performed in last night’s show. Ash was hanging out with fiance Pete Wentz while waiting for her turn on the stage. The two looked very lovey-dovey and kissy-face. That’s what pregnancy does to you. Kidding. I don’t think she’s pregnant, but I really don’t care anymore. We just found out Beyonce and Jay-Z are really married yesterday, so I’m sure Ashlee will be showing soon if she is preggy. The truth always comes out. Anyway, besides her Petey, sis Jessica and dad Joe also came by to show their support. It was a family affair.
