Movie Date Night

Okay, these two are starting to grow on me. The neutral feelings I have for the Wentz’s are slowly turning into a little bit of amusement in seeing a preggy Ashlee canoodling happily with her hubby. Definitely sappiness at its best. Ashlee and Pete were spotted a couple of days ago catching a movie at the ArcLight in Sherman Oaks. The two were intertwined the whole night, with Ash hanging on to her man’s arm throughout the evening. Pete recently told People Magazine that he makes sure he talk to the baby as much as possible. “I talk to our baby all the time,” he stated. “‘The Expectant Father’ tells you that the woman, when she speaks, the baby hears her all the time. And the father’s voice isn’t familiar unless you talk to it, so I talk to it all the time.” Good for you, Petey. Good for you. There are a bunch more pics of the happy couple after the jump. Donut Run

Pete Wentz sure knows how to make his pregnant wife happy. He knows that donuts equal a big Ashlee Simpson smile, so he took wifey to get some of the holey treats a couple of days ago at Studio City. Check out Ash’s humongous grin. You know she wants to get into that bag of fried dough as soon as he gets in the car (with an apple juice to wash it all down with, of course). Ashlee, who is said to be due sometime in October, has been taking it easy this summer. She canceled her planned tour, opting instead to rest up until she gives birth. Pete, meanwhile, is finding success with his new Friday night MTV show, FN’MTV. Handy, dandy! I have a few more photos of the couple during their donut run after the jump. Check them out.
The Lady In Red

The lady in red last night was Ashlee Simpson and the man next to her, of course, was hubby Pete Wentz. Ashlee went to see a play solo last night in North Hollywood and then met up with her rocker husband for dinner at La Loggia Italian Bistro in Studio City. Pete’s been doing a lot of baby chats lately, and he recently talked to OK! Mag about his pending fatherhood and where he’s learning: “I’m talking to my dad a lot. I’m talking to Ashlee’s dad a lot. We hang out with other people who have kids. You see the world in a different way. It’s exciting.” The couple reportedly got pregnant around Valentine’s Day and they got a tentative due date of October 31, which Pete is supposedly excited about. Well, good times for the Wentz’s! Pete Sweating It Out

He wasn’t on his way to the gym, but Pete Wentz did opt to sport some sweats on his way to the recording studio in Los Angeles yesterday. Hey, you gotta’ be comfortable when you’re letting your genius come out in song. What’s new in Pete’s world? Well, according to news reports, Pete and Ash are expecting a girl! Reports indicated before that the couple might be having a boy when witnesses claimed they saw Pete and Ash buying everything blue at a baby store, but I guess that witness was mistaken. Ashley and Pete have yet to confirm the baby girl news, of course, but they’ll probably be doing that on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show sometime soon. After all, these two love do love a show.
What They Did On The Fourth…

Jenny McCarthy and honey Jim Carrey took a nice walk on the beach in Malibu. So romantic, aren’t they? And Jenny’s looking hot in that bathing suit…
…And so is Jim. Gotta’ love a boyfriend you can share clothes, er, bikinis with. Okay, these two just moved up in my list of fave celeb couples.
Lance Armstrong took an early morning bike ride along PCH with a couple of his buddies.
Later that day, Lance took his son to a medical building in Beverly Hills. I was told that girlfriend Kate Hudson (not pictured) dropped the duo off and picked them up. Yeah, they’re definitely in couple-dom now.
Pete Wentz and his missus Ashlee went to a friend’s BBQ in the Hollywood Hills to celebrate the fourth. They even took their adorable pup with them. Hope they gave that dog a bone or something to chew on.
Here’s Pete looking happy and well after the shindig. He must have had some yummy ’slaw and yummy BBQ’d ribs. Wait, is Pete a vegetarian? Somehow, I just picture him being a vegetarian.
