The Hoff Returns To TV

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

David Hasselhoff can’t stand to be out of the spotlight for long. The has-been actor was dumped by “America’s Got Talent,” but is bouncing back with a new reality series on A&E. The show will look at Hasselhoff’s life as a single dad with two teen daughters. Hopefully, he’ll be able to stay sober long enough to tape the 10 half-hour episodes the network has ordered. Of course, the show will be more entertaining if he doesn’t.

Miley’s Ex Gets Reality Show

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

Hunky model Justin Gaston may have been kicked to the curb by teen queen Miley Cyrus, but he’s getting another chance at fame with the online reality series “If I Can Dream.” Conceived by “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller, the series will air on Hulu and follows five would-be stars as they try to make it in Hollywood.

The five—Gaston, Amanda Phillips, Benjamin Elliot, Giglianne Braga and Kara Kilmore—will move into a home in the hills where they will be monitored 24/7. Fans will be able to send messages to the contestants by Twitter or Facebook. After a couple of weeks, the public will be so bored with these acts that their careers will be over before they get started.

DJ AM has cheated death and conquered his own drug demons. Now he’s ready to help others get their lives together.

The Hollywood Reporter says DJ, aka Adam Goldstein, will be joining MTV’s upcoming intervention-style reality show called “Gone Too Far.” The series will feature tough-love interventions for young people dealing with substance abuse. DJ AM, who has been sober for about ten years, will be present as an addiction specialist attempts to aid the abusers.

This could be interesting if DJ AM honestly tries to use his own experiences to relate to the people who have problems.
