He’s had a pretty rough year thus far, with the DUI arrest earlier this year and all, so let’s hope Richie Sambora’s doing better these days. Our favorite Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora, has been officially charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI. He avoided being charged for child endangerment. He was arrested on March 25 in Laguna Beach, CA. His daughter, girlfriend and a family friend were in the car when Richie was stopped by the Laguna Beach PD. He could face up to six months in jail and is scheduled to appear in court May 7. Richie entered rehab last June, but he may be thinking twice about doing another stint. If you’re drunk driving with your daughter in the car, that’s probably a good indication that you have a problem.

Richie Sambora, who was arrested on March 25 for driving under the influence, could face two misdemeanor charges, Us Magazine reports. The Laguna Beach Police Department is requesting that Richie should be charged with child endangerment and DUI. The request from LBPD is not final and will have to be reviewed by the Orange County district attorney’s office. This means he hasn’t been officially charged and will have to wait to see what the DA decides. Richie was with his daughter Ava when he was arrested. He’s due to appear in court May 7th.

Denise Richard’s ex-favorite Bon Jovi member, Richie Sambora, was arrested last night for DUI in Laguna Beach. TMZ is reporting that he was pulled over around 11 pm last night after cops saw him driving erratically. He then failed a couple of sobriety tests. Richie, who was driving a Hummer, had a very stressful year in 2007. His one-year relationship with Denise Richards ended, his divorce from Heather Locklear was finalized and most notably, he lost his dad to lung cancer. He also entered treatment last June and told the press that he was still in therapy but was doing fine. Let’s just hope he gets the help he needs after this.
