McGowan And Director Fiance Split

Charmed star Rose McGowan and her fiance, Sin City director Robert Rodriguez, have broken up according to Pagesix.com. Rosie was set to star in at least three planned Rodriguez films - a remake of Barbarella, Red Sonja and Woman in Chains! The couple met while Robert directed Rose in his 2007 flop, Grindhouse. Robert, who was still married at the time, and Rosie began an affair during filming, and it’s reported that once the director’s wife found out about the affair, shooting had to be halted for one month. By the way, Robert and his ex-wife were married sixteen years and had five kids together pre-Rosie. The pair finally went public with their relationship at the Cannes Film Festival last year. Page Six reports that Robert was having a hard time getting funding for his remake of Barbarella , and this was part of the reason for the breakup. No word yet if Rose gave Robert back the big fat engagement diamond he gifted her (shown above), but I have a feeling these two are going to get back together.

Look at Miss Rosie, looking all lovely. Our photogs caught up with Rose McGowan yesterday as she left the Neil George Salon in Beverly Hills. Loving the red hair, Rose. She can now star in a movie as Julianne Moore’s sister. Anyway, she looked fabulous. The Charmed star just finished up a movie about B-movie star Susan Cabot, who was killed by her dwarf son in 1986. I didn’t even make that up. Rose will be playing Susan Cabot and I have no clue who’s playing the dwarf son. Rose is also going to be the new co-host on Turner Classic Movie’s The Essentials. Yes, Rose is a classic movie buff. Who knew?! Anyway, more picsof the new TCM host are available below. Have at them.
