She Might Be Promoting Something

If you haven’t heard yet, Sex and the City the movie is out in theaters now. I know Sarah Jessica Parker and company haven’t really done much promoting for the movie. I mean, you would think they’d do a bunch of interviews and do the talk show round. And someone should really tell New Line Cinema that they need to put up more SATC billboards and posters out there. I only saw, like, twelve bus stop posters today. Geez. I should see them in EVERY bus stop. Thank goodness SJP and the rest of the ladies have decided to grace the cover of Marie Claire’s July issue, or else we’d never know they were promoting a movie.

Please don’t kill Big! The blog world is trying to figure out which character dies in the upcoming Sex and the City movie, after Cynthia Nixon spilled the secret on tax day. She was at the Creation Nation comedy show when she told host Billy Eichner that a character will be axed in the SATC film. After her slip-up, Cynthia of course did not divulge which lucky character gets the heave-ho. I bet it’s one of Charlotte’s dogs or something totally asinine like that. It couldn’t be Samantha, who dealt with breast cancer, but is one of the more interesting characters in the show/movie. A lot of folks on the net are betting on Big to pass on. Well, whoever gets their exit note, this little tidbit is definitely very timely since the movie is opening next month.
The Sex And The City Ladies Are In L.A.

Didn’t we tell you they were coming to Los Angeles? Happy times for all Sex and the City fans here in L.A., as the cast and crew have arrived to film in our beautiful city. Sarah Jessica Parker and company were on location in Malibu yesterday, looking bundled up and gorgeous on a chilly winter day near the beaches. We have pictures of Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, but didn’t catch a glimpse of Kristin Davis. Hmm, maybe Charlotte is coming in later with Harry. Yes, if you’ve never watched the show then that last sentence probably doesn’t make sense to you. And if you’ve never watched the show…well why not? Sex and the City was like Monday Night Football to a lot of women (and men). We would gather in groups to watch Carrie and Big going back and forth with their relationship, or laugh like hyenas when Samantha scored another man on her belt. Plus, the show really had great fashion to look at. It was heaven. So it is definitely a big deal, this movie, for many fans who still miss the series. Thus, we welcome the ladies and the film crew to our hometown. And for our readers, we have more pics for you to check out.

Carrie Bradshaw and company might be heading out to Los Angeles! Okay, the pic above looks more like Carrie a few years after being married to Big, but it’s actually Sarah Jessica Parker and son James when they were arriving in L.A. a few months ago. Bear with us because this is great news for Sex and the City fanatics, your blogger included. The popular HBO series which is landing in the big screen has been filming in New York City, its homebase, but it might change locations for a few weeks. According to sexandthecitymovieblog.com, the cast and crew will be coming to L.A. any day now and could possibly film here for a few weeks, with a stop to Cabo San Lucas for more shoots. The movie is set to release in May 2008 and there are many loyal Sex and the City fans out there who have been waiting for this event. We’ll definitely keep you posted when we find out more info on their filming sites here in the west coast.
