What you’re looking at is a Star Fleet Officer’s formal wear. I blurred out the face to keep this chick from getting fired but you can clearly see the communicator. That’s about all I know about this, so feel free to go over them with a fine tooth comb and report back to me. Now please, will all you die hard Star Trek fans stop emailing me?!

There was an eagle eyed reader who called this one the minute we posted the Trek photos. We weren’t certain so we held off on posting this but the picture above is indeed Jennifer Morrison and IESB.net has received confirmation from her management that she has indeed been cast in JJ Abrams Star Trek. IESB speculates that Morrison will play Carol Marcus, who apparently is Kirk’s baby’s momma. Now can anyone tell us who these rest of these peeps are below?

Production began yesterday on JJ Abrams Star Trek in a super secret Southern California location. We had to pull some major strings and drop a dime or two to find out where this bad boy was filming. Fortunately, JJ’s got the same M.O. as Cloverfield, which was another b-otch to find. Normally, we wouldn’t bother with these photos as they’re all extras, but according to a Star Trek fanatic friend of mine, all the rabid Star Trek fans will be eager to go to town on these photos. Every extra in Star Trek gear was covering up the goods with a hooded trench coat. Another reason we’re putting these pictures up is because that eagle eyed PA who spotted us posted up would want us to. He sure earned his money today.
