Pacino To Play Lasorda!?!?

MovieWeb is reporting that acting legend Al Pacino has expressed interest in playing Tommy Lasorda in a movie that will tell the legendary Dodger’s life story. Why should this be of any interest to you? Well, tonight’s the first game of the second round of division with the Dodgers taking on the Phillies to see who goes on to the World Series! That’s why! The Dodgers took care of business quick in the last round, sweeping the Cubs out while breaking the hearts of Chicgoans the world over. The game starts at 8:22 PM EST, which is an odd time to start a game but hey, 8:22 PM it is.
I like Pacino but I’m not digging this casting. Will he put on the weight or just wear a fat suit? Can he even get close to the Tommy’s distinctive voice?
