DJ AM Laid To Rest

DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, was laid to rest Wednesday at Hillside Mortuary in Culver City. A memorial for Goldstein will take place Thursday evening at the historic Hollywood Palladium, where the DJ played many events. Close friend Travis Barker shoveled dirt on the grave as Goldstein’s mother Andrea Gross looked on.

Travis And Shanna Split Again

OK, who won the office pool on when this would happen? On-and-off couple Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler have called it quits for the umpteenth time.
US reports the breakup happened after the pair had a fight that ended when the cops showed up. A source blabbed, “a nasty fight broke out at his house last night and cops were called…[when] Shanna started freaking out and acting irrational…Travis confronted Shanna about her having an affair with Gerard Butler while he was in the hospital recovering.”
Those two were seen together six months ago, and he’s just getting upset about it now? The source added that Barker “just wants to focus on his music and his children right now. He is done with her drama.” Yeah, done with her drama until he gets horny lonely, and takes her back.

Travis Barker And DJ AM Reunite For New Year’s Bash

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM, also known as TRSVJDAM, will perform together for the first time since both were injured in a plane crash in September. The pair are scheduled to headline the New Year’s Nation New Year’s Eve party the Lot in West Hollywood and their set will be streamed live over the Internet and to to other New Year’s Nation parties in 10 U.S. cities. Barker released this statement:
“I’m ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house,” Barker said in a statement. “I’m very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of L.A.”
Both guys certainly deserve a great 2009 after all they’ve been through this year.

Travis Gives Thanks

Travis Barker is feeling especially grateful this Thanksgiving and used his MySpace blog to express his feelings to his fans and friends.
“Thanksgiving thanks
I wanted to say thanks today, and share my gratitude for everything Ive been blessed with. Family, friends, and continued support from everyone. Thank you for life, and all the little ups and downs that make it worth living. My best to everyone…”
Barker is still recovering from third-degree burns suffered in a September private plane crash that also injured DJ AM and killed four others.
