Tyra About To Wed?

Is Tyra Banks about to walk down the aisle? Well, according to Mediatakeout.com, she might be getting closer to wearing a wedding dress. The website is claiming that Tyra recently enlisted a very prominent Manhattan law firm to draft a prenuptial agreement for her. Their source (or snitch, as they lovingly call this particular source) works in the law firm Tyra hired. The mini-TV mogul has been seriously dating multi-millionaire investment banker, John Utendahl for two years. Rumors have surfaced before that Tyra moved production for her talk-show from Los Angeles to New York to be closer to John, but she has denied it. She quelled the rumor with Essence Magazine last year: “I’m very insulted by that rumor. I employ a lot of people; their livelihoods rest on my shows. The move to New York was a decision I made with my manager. It was not about a man.” There’s been no word yet from Tyra’s camp regarding this wedding rumor, but maybe she’ll be announcing the good news on her show very soon.

Seriously, who knew Tyra Banks would be a mini TV mogul. I don’t think anyone guessed it, but we won’t hate. Love her or hate her, the girl’s getting it done. And she’s really getting it done on the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. In this issue, Tyra pays homage to Michelle Obama. Clad in a slinky black shift dress and pearls, she poses next to a Barack Obama look-a-like in the White House in one of the photos. She also talked about the possible future first lady. “With Barack Obama, his becoming president is them becoming president because Michelle was there from the beginning,” Tyra told Harper’s. “Without Michelle, he wouldn’t be there.” I’m sure there are even more Tyra-isms in the September issue, so go grab a copy at your local newsstands on August 19, if you’re so inclined.
Tyra Doesn’t Play That

Oh no you diiiiiiiiin’t. Okay, that was really lame and kind of stereotypical, so save the comments. This is an interesting and out of the blue piece of tidbit, but there’s news that Tyra Banks was overheard telling a friend at a party that Britney Spears should “just go ahead and kill herself.” Tyra quickly released a statement denying these words were ever uttered and commented that she and Britney are friends. I believe that they’re friends and I do believe Tyra didn’t say such hurtful things about Britney. I will say that when we are in the company of our friends, we go all out with the booboo-talking, am I not correct? I’m not saying Tyra said all these things about Britney. All I’m saying is that people are allowed to say whatever the heck they want, especially in front of their friends. Yes, that’s the main theme of this post. Of course we’ll just have to wait for Brit’s response, if any. And we’ll keep you posted, as always.
