Womanizer Delayed A Week

The release of Britney Spears’s first single ‘Womanizer’ off her new album ‘Circus’ has been delayed a week. The single will be released September 29. This is the same single that was leaked last week to very mixed feedback. Was this the reason for the delay? Can a heavilly produced song be re-worked in something single-worthy in less than two weeks? Or are they just not giving Britney a shot?
